Going into this game with confidence. Not a happy hunting ground in the past, but given current form we should win this even though Silva may not play. We won 4-1 at home so if we do the double it may be the first this season. Lots of games have gone for us this weekend hope it continues.

    Pulisic needs to get going

always injured, does he lack mental strength like Chistensen?

Ruudi was good and bad in equal proportions tonight, Mount still is amazing Werner was better and showed signs of getting his mojo back, James solid and Christiansen looked secure, Dave was a bit of the pace early on and Jorginho and Kovacic their usual selves. Good result in a game we lost 3-0 last time out, not much to say about Giroud maybe lack of playing time is hurting him, but he should be used to that by now. Chilwell made a great pass for Werner in the build up to Mounts goal but not much else seemed very negative, Onwards and upwards we go on to a home game against the Barcodes after the cup tie with Barnsley.

A win in a game we might have lost before Audi, so definite improvement. Not our best play , some signs of the old play crept back in. Werner looked really sharp and was simply unlucky, but had a big hand in both goals. Mount again very good. Christensen looked better, Rudi one howler but plenty of good work. Kovacic didn't run as much and Jorginho was so- so, did OK but not enough to run our attack.. Downsides for me were Chilwell, poor, negative, bog ordinary player, Giroud who had a stinker, and James who looked tentative and often indecisive in attack.Players will take time to get used to playing in new positions and ways, so no drama, and CHO looks our best wide front man.

Am i the only person who thinks Rudigger tried to put the ball out for a corner and miss-hit it?

He was never putting it back to the keeper, just unlucky.

I'd say you are Diego ! If he was putting it out for a corner he wasn't going to kick the ball that easy.

Certainly back in the hunt now for top 4. Can see signs why Tuchel is rated so highly. My loyalty to Frank bias has probably clouded my judgement a bit but in fairness, along with his work, he comes across in interviews as a really nice bloke. Anyway time will tell...so far so good. Let's go and win this F.A. Cup now.

I feel exactly the same way. Frank was dudded by RA in that he should have got until seasons end in my opinion. Given Covid, the high level of injuries to key players, the condensed schedule, new young players etc, the decision was very harsh.
Tuchel wasn't involved in that decision, and has every right to take the job as offered. He is also under the pump, is doing a fine job and deserves support .Doesn't change my opinion of the Frank debacle, just confirms my opinion of our sycophantic Board.

Completely agree mate. The schedule is relentless with so little time between games
