I went back in Monday. I'm 9% up.

Bitcoin hit $55k. I think it's a certainly that Bitcoin will hit $100k by the end of the year.

Something like etoro as its free of trading fees and there is a demo account facility to get to grips with it.
Avoid spread betting and cfd trading as its a good way to lose money fast.
Only invest what you are prepared to lose as a rule.

On a more long-term/boring angle, many of the big fund companies are switching to green stocks from fossil fuels and more ethical investments.
Also many will be pushing recovery funds as the world comes back to life and readjusts to new methods post covid.

My pension is in a mixed low-medium risk fund and yes there quite a few 'green' stocks in it and they're doing ok.
Currently the best performing stock in my pot is Hipgnosis, that company that's buying up artist's song catalogues. Never in a million years would I have thought of investing in that had I been doing it myself.

I use coinbase and binance for crypto and 212 for trading. Others I know use Hargreaves lansdown for trading.

Primary bid is worth registering for as well, if your interested in share offers before the hit the public

It's a good time to start investing TBF! This week has been an absolute bloodbath so everything is lower and that's the time to buy

Lithium mining, CBD and cannabis shares are very hot atm

Good call. I’m talking to a lot of institutional investors about the very asset classes you mention.. foreign funds are piling into the U.K., especially commercial property non high street.

I have a couple of green companies with excellent ideas/operations looking at IPO over the next couple of years. Most family offices/ sovereign funds have switched attention to green/renewables. Worryingly a fair few are pulling out of crypto and now also looking at fintec (financial technology)

All of this is great, but there are two or three things that I can't get my head around. I would like to learn more, but whenever I look around google, I just get bombarded with ****e.

A simple starter guide with point in the right direction would be appreciated. I only want to start with pocket money.

Doesn't Gordon Ramsey reckon he's made a fortune doing bitcoin?

Maybe follow his twitter or something.

Green&renewables are definitely looking at huge growth potential, if any of the companies are looking at offering shares before the IPO as cellular goods have, then I'd be very interested in taking a look.

Another that has been good recently for me has been MGC pharmaceuticals
