It’s a mental run considering the teams we’ve played and the resources we have. Probably better than any run we had under Warnock considering that. The seven wins in row under Holloway was probably the last time we’ve done something similar.
Transformed the midfield for me, very useful with the ball and has that streetwise know how to put himself about a bit. Brilliant signing.
Blimey, you're posh! A special cabinet for beer. I just have a small stack in the kitchen and a big stack in the garage.
Well, we are doing alright at the moment. Some players who get stick week in week out have started to have some important contributions of late. We are playing more as a team I think. Hopefully the Yorkshireman who is at crapdiff gets the manager of the month for Feb. I can't say I will open a cider now as I have been on it since way before kick off. ENJOY.
Dont remember slating him. I saw him playing for Norway last year when he was well off the pace and got subbed at half time. Have an idea he wasn't fully match fit for that game, and in any case it's a much higher level, faster, than the Championship. Otherwise I knew little about him other than he'd been a useful player earlier in his career in the Championship, and for Norway, but wasnt getting games for Fulham in the PL, and maybe past his best. He'll be well happy he's getting games again now, scoring today, and may get more games for Norway who have a new Manager if he keeps this up. He's still Captain I believe of the National team, and will want to impress the new boss there. Like WBA with Austin, I hope Fulham manage to stay up, so we have a better chance of keeping both for next season, though that's not looking very likely.
I don’t want to put a downer on our celebrations but the two games in hand are Wycombe and Rotherham and you all know what happens when we play teams in the bottom 3
was listening to BBC Radio Solent saying how much Bournemouth dominated the game. More dominatant than Rangers in picking the ball out of the net me thinks... I also had 3-1 in predictions ....ah well, we got three points that's all that matters
A brilliant win. Well done to the R’s! We are now truly mid-table. 10 points from both the play-offs and the relegation zone. Plus, we are in a great run with games in hand. We must now continue to play each game one at a time and see what will be the results. It is is a time to enjoy the football and have a good time! COYR’s!
A bit better than against Brentford though. Strangely, he seemed to get better when Austin went off to me, but then got subbed himself after winning a corner.
Ok! All of my beer is also in the garage. I'll try not to pretend to be posh in future. (At least it's not lager in the fridge)
It wasn't meant to be a dig. You seemed less than impressed when he joined, but hey, I don't rate Kane!!
We seem to get players like that. One in a long line of unpopular pros who somehow keep going and turn things around in spite of constant barracking by the fan base. Remember the vitriolic abuse that Paul Furlong suffered? My personal favourite was Terry Mancini who was pretty useless for most of his career before Gordon ago signed him. The fans knew he was and kept telling him.. A man who knew he had two left feet so resorted to using his bald pate rising above his flowing locks whenever the ball was more than 3 inches above the playing surface. I was there right behind him when he sored his first goal in our promotion season to the First Division ith his head of course. And he repeated the feat two weeks later. 'Henry,Henry' we chanted. Because we all knew that his real skill was in writing he theme tune to the Pink Panther cartoons. Next season he was a regular starter in Division 1 and then somehow we managed to persuade Arsenal that he was just what they needed to bolster their defence .
