I see somebody in the tags says "Mon stabs white people". Cue: Mon saying he doesn't stab ALL white people.

Haha are you really getting your backup from tags on GC? Not only is this a low for the whole site, but a new low for the human race in general.

Uh oh. The shilent 'h' minefield. <yikes>

In the English language a word beginning 'h' may or may not be proceeded by the determine 'an'. A word beginning 'H' must be preceded by the now determinate 'an'.

    "a hypocrite" is correct
"an hypocrite" is also correct but never actually spoken or written as such

"a Hotel" is incorrect but is often spoken as such
"an Hotel" is correct but never spoken as such

Then, the rules change when you introduce consonant sounds and the determine and determinate differ again.

    "a apple", "an apple"
    " a hour", "an hour"

Basically, indefinite articles are ****ed in the English language.

Where is Ponders when you need him? He would sort this **** out.

No I'm not wrong. Also I taught English in South Korea (where I watched the soccer ball world cup) and Taiwan (where I ate jellyfish and seahorse). To say I have taught nobody is incorrect.
