That was written in January though so maybe by the time the final takes place it may change.

I get that people would love for KLD to tell them to **** off, you’re not welcome but these are not children they’re grown men and wealthy business men at that and so the diplomacy that comes with that suggests they’ll be welcome to watch a cup final involving a club they own over 20% of.

People need to forget them and move on it’s not about them anymore.

It's not about KLD though. The guidance is there to limit non essential travel, and none of that has changed or will change by the match. The EFL say a party of 10 directors, which is quite likely to be enforced for a final. They aren't directors. There's 7 directors so there's maybe space for them to go, but no requirement and there's a chance they'd be turned away even if KLD was happy for them to attend. I'm not saying they won't go but you are being very certain that they will, it's not certain at all. They might well not attend. Not that it matters a **** tbh

I think you’ve got me wrong mate.

I was being very certain that if they’re allowed to travel and attend then KLD would welcome them and not **** them off like it’s been suggested. It wasn’t about ticket allocation or EFL rules it was about the fact that some think KLD is not going to allow them to watch the game, just because the fans don’t like them.

I guess as KLD is the majority share holder the Board could vote to issue £5m new shares. Any director not taking up their proportion of the offer would find their shareholding % reduced.

I don't really want to make this a big issue because I'm trying to draw a line under it all.

What's happening is that KLD is isolating the previous idiots and bringing in people who will run rings around them. They're, in a sense, obliged to either match outgoings, on a pro rata basis, or surrender shares.

I'd guess they'll be squeezed out by the end of January 2022.

No not really. I have shares in a number of companies, but have no say whatever in their behaviour.

Might be wrong, to be fair I usually am, but is it perhaps different that you've invested in a PLC company rather than a private company

Hmm, KLD could I suppose in order to raise capital issue more shares, those who have existing shares would have first dibs. If they did not take up the offer, then their shareholding % would be diluted.

Just asked for a bit of guidance and clarity from a bigger boy who's much more cleverer than what I am. This is his reply and more to follow.

"KLD and his two minders have done SD up like a kipper. While he could put money in as a loan, he can dilute them into compulsory buyout territory any time he wants, though Sartori could possibly afford to. I was a little bit surprised to see JS get the boot with Donald, but there you go. I certainly wouldn't want to be crossing Margarita either."

    Just had this further response.

" As far as them being at Wembley goes, the guidelines simply mention "club officials", which could mean anything. I suspect you're right, and it will be at the club's discretion. SD and CM were at Burton, and at that point, neither were directors, as Donald was removed on the Friday."

I might be wrong here, but im sure there is a limit to the amount of club officials allowed to attend.....i "think" its 10. That could possibly give scope for SD to attend, BUT....didnt KLD say in his interview there would be more appointments over the next couple of weeks. That may push SD further down the pecking order.
Again, i could be wrong, but I could imagine that a club have to declare who will be attending as a club official prior to the event. That could maybe account for SD being at Burton.
    Pure guess work this mind.

KLD will decide who's at Wembley ...

... Donald would have to ask if he can go.

If its 'no' it wouldn't matter if there are only 3 or 4 officials.

Aye, I heard that Donald's shares aren't protected. Don't really know what it means but presumably there is sometimes an agreement that the shares can't be diluted for x amount of time (so all kld could do is put in a directors loan). Apparently that's not the case here. With KLD having all of the say there's probably no great rush to dilute shares, but I'd be amazed if he wasn't sole owner by the time he gets us to the top flight (if he does get us there, but I'm being optimistic!).

Nothing wrong with being optimistic - we all want to be optimistic where the club is concerned! :emoticon-0105-wink: And FWIW, I reckon with KLD we will get back up to the top table but it will take a while

I think so as well. Wasn't absolutely certain when he was linked but his early moves have been a clear statement of intent. Someone that rich isn't going to come here and be happy with a second tier side, he's obviously going to have ambition to take us much further. Doesn't mean he'll manage it, but early signs suggest at least he's going about it the right way. Improving standards straight away, prioritising the academy, getting good people around him. Doing exactly what Short should have done, and I'm confident he'll achieve more

Is it likely one of the terms of the deal was that Donald could retain his shares for a period - perhaps 12 months - in a last ditch gamble to then try to negotiate a larger payment for them later
