Is this a business then or just stuff from home? I've done eBay on and off for at least 15 years and now just selling off my own clothing that doesn't fit any more!!

When I started I was really intrigued by the whole idea of anyone being able to sell anything. I bought a few things just to get used to it, then had a go at selling. The first items I sold were packets of nappy sacks!! I simply wanted to have a go at selling something really random!! Bought them Savers in Weston at 99p and sold them at £2.50 a shot, including a few to the USA of all things!! Went on from there.

I have just bought a load of clothes on ebay, in London even if you shopped around various stores the £96 I spent on e bay would have cost me over £700. You buy it in a shop, wear it wash it or dry clean it, its then worth far less than you paid .. so why pay it in the first place! Bargain was a pair of Hotter shoes £ 6, was sold as only worn once or twice, Ok so might have been on a couple long ish walks! by looking at the wear to the finish on bottoms of soles, but heels were as new, they came in original box and looked spanking brand new.

Ive been on there for approaching 20 years but only last 2 or 3 years actually upped my selling. Still not able to get head round them that starts off at 1p for an item that is maybe worth £200 plus [ 1 last week! ] when selling I have the approach that item is worth / I want say £20 [ after 15% fee's] so start off about £17.99 happy to get that from 1 bidder/or 2 fighting for it. Buying I have off to a fine art had a run of 21 wins … get annoyed when I lose, but have an absolute max figure... and use 2 screens!

What ever LJ may achieve with Sunderland, good luck to the bloke and thank god he was sacked and is no longer with us, we have got a proper manager called Nige and that will do me.

I was just pointing out how views change in just a matter of a few games.......fickle fans everywhere!!
Nige wasn't my first choice has to be said, but I've liked what I've seen so far and was also surprised about his positive attitude towards us.
I really hope he turns out to be the real deal for us and progresses us now to the next level.....

And should he get promotion, and assuming we are still in the Championship next year, then I hope that we give Sunderland a right good caning home and away <laugh>

I'll be really honest with you, from the list that was suggested and for who I could see that was available........I didn't really have one mate!!
Eddie Howe, although not totally convinced other than what he did for Bournemouth, may have been an option.
But I hold my hands up, I've been quite impressed with what I've seen and heard from NP and would be really happy to say I was wrong if he does the business..So far so good..
Who would have predicted how Mick has turned Cardiff around in the way he has? Lets hope for something similar!!

We think we are fickle, read their comments. Basically anyone who doesn't get them top 2 is $hite in their opinion. Their fans have such a lofty opinion of their team, I don't think most of them have fully grasped how bad they have been over the past 5 years, or how hard it will be to get them back to where they thnk they should be. Incredible arrogance from their fans.

They've been in the 3rd Division (L1) before, so this isn't news to them. Fans of clubs like Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa, Leeds are all the same. They think they're entitled to be in the Premiership just because of their size, name and history. But a lot of them have spent many seasons playing in leagues below the top flight over the last 50 years.

I remember playing them when the hit 5 or 6 past us. It was a night game and Marco Gabbiadini scoring a few.
I think that was league 3
