Ok butter procedure should be this really; Buy butter from shop or supermarket. If you, for instance, you buy three packs, one goes in the butter dish for use, the other two go in the fridge, until needed. Use butter. When butter is used, wash butter dish and take a fresh pack of butter out of the fridge. Put that butter in the butter dish. Use butter. Repeat. Not really that hard, is it? By the way, sometimes in winter it gets cold. So, unless you leave your heating on 24 hours a day, you might come down to the kitchen and find your butter is hard, in the butter dish. You can then use the potato peeler tip. No need to thank me.
Not a big fan of Rye bread. I tried some sprouted wheat bread once, it was ****ing abysmal. More like a **** cake with no sugar. Would not recommend.
You don't like Cheese either right ? Is that a Dairy / Lactose intolerant thing, or just don't like it ?
No idea, never really thought about it, easier just to avoid. Cheese just makes me throw up, so i steer clear of it. Most foods I don't like I can force myself to eat, but can't do that with cheese without bad consequences. Even if people don't tell me it's in food, I still know. I have to be careful with some fancy pies, because they include cheese within the pastry. Pain in the arse buying sandwiches, the amount of them that have cheese as one of the ingredients does my nut in. I'm fine with milk. Was a pain in the arse in the States, the amount of restaurants that automatically apply cheese to dishes, even if you ask for it to be left off, they still give you it, because its just part of their standard serving. Go to McDonalds, I generally have to wait for fresh to be cooked, it's quite an advantage in them scenarios, because your food is always hot and not been left to stand there for ages.
I'm not sure there's much difference in quality between just cooked or left to stand McDonalds ? I dunno I haven't eaten anything of theirs for yonks. But I remember as kids, my brother would order a quarter pounder with NOTHING added to it. No ketchup, no salad, no gherkins, nothing. So we would have to wait for ages for them to cook one up especially for him. Pissed me off no end that
Whatever age they are when they get bored with it not spreading when it's been in the fridge ... obvs
That's me mate, still has the same effect of pissing people off Although not been to a McDonalds for nigh on a couple of years.
Lol. I guess it kinda goes against the ethos of fast food when you've got some annoying ****er with you who has to wait 20 mins for their burger. That said, I do like a good burger. My girlfriend is Vegetarian so I can't usually get them, but I do like a tasty burger .... hang on, that's a line from Pulp fiction. Anyway, the reason I mention it is because the best burger I've ever had was from a place called Biggie's in San Clemente. Proper old school burger and shakes joint, with a bar with red leather stools and those big backed bench seats, proper old 50's style US diner. It wasn't fast food at all. You had to wait about 25 mins for your food, but I watched them make it and you had a guy weighing out the mince, another one making the patties, another guy on the char broiler and one more chopping up salad. Amazing burger and made with top quality ingredients. There are some great fast food burger places in the US though. In n Out Burger, Carl Jr's and Jack in the Box do some great burgers.
Lentils and curry. Ginge is going to be adding to global warming in Thailand with the methane release after eating that
How 'strict' for want of a better word is your other half with being a vegetarian. Because I know it can be difficult, certainly in the past, down to even watching what your food is cooked in, prepared on, what type of oil/fat is used, does she eat fish, does she support animal activism. Which wasn't that easy in the States or anywhere come to think of it, in years gone by, we see/hear being a vegetarian spoke about more often and openly these days, but years ago it would have been a right pain in the arse.
