Bit of a cliche, all these games being "huge" but that's where we find ourselves.
Based on our game v the Dippers, I don't expect many changes this time, so......

    Mendy
    Dave Christensen Rudiger
    James Kante Jorginho Alonso
    CHO Werner Mount

Alonso for Chilwell and CHO for Ziyech would be my changes. CHO because he plays well with Reece James, and I'm still underwhelmed with Chilwells' crossing and his tendency to stop and backpass..

Should have been 4/5 nil to be honest, Havertz did well but once again Werner was Shyte should have scored 2 easily possibly 3, He is running out of time Tuchel wont wait forever. Good to see we can rest some of our best players and still win against a top 4 rival.

Not sure I agree that Werner was shyte, he worked his socks off and did a lot of good things. Maybe goal scoring is not as easy in the PL as the Bundesliega, and he needs time to adapt, but I think his general play is plenty good enough for a regular start.
As for the game, 1st half was sluggish compared to Liverpool with the new players, but we still had total control.
Second half ramped upland all the "new" players were really good, Zouma, Alonso, Havertz particularly, and we looked really good despite little time to "gel".
Said last post Audi might give more game time to the so far ignored players ,and bring them on as he has done with Christensen, Jorginho etc.
Certainly no loss of quality in this line up and great news for the Club when Zouma, and his bench sitting mates are up to speed with the others who have had all the game time. Plus, Pulisic and Ziyech to come.
Like this manager , like his man management, think we might have found just the man to bring the young and old together and make us a proper, competitive team with a great club culture. There seems a genuine bonding of players and trainers under Audi, lets hope RA keeps well away.

Very impressed with the last 3 games.Man management from Audi seems to be very good.
Been impressed with Christensen, finally looking like the player we all thought he could be..
.......Still struggling to get into this season, but doing well in the CL might change that!!<laugh><laugh>

CP. Werner missed a sitter and spurned 2 other chances that even Emille Heskey would have put away, work rate on its own is not good enough, if we had the Brownlee brothers playing for us their work rate would be top notch but they do not posses the skills to play football much like Werner is displaying just now. I really hope I'm wrong but I called it with Morata, they both do not posses the basic footballing skills that you would expect for the money we paid for them.

Can't argue with the facts, Werner is missing loads of goals. I keep hoping he will come good and it's just 1st seasons blues. It has been a dreadful season for all teams and players to get going , Liverpool, us, Man Utd, Everton and City have all had lousy runs and good runs, Bloody Morata is scoring for fun now he's left us, maybe it's The Bridge !!!!!!

I watched Morata last night in the CL for Juventus, trust me he hasn't improved much and his general play is still rank average. The goals he gets must be from the service of Ronaldo Chiesa Rabido et al The only area he looks competent in is his heading. By the way great result for Porto who played the majority of the game with 10 men.

I saw it too, great game for a neutral and well done to Porto. Juve were a bit stiff, the ball just wouldn't go in. Our loanee Malang Sarr looked up to the standard when he came on, he did well I thought.
