If we maintain our season average of 1.35 pts per game we would finish on 51 pts I could name 9 teams who would love our record.
Erm ..... should Brighton not be below the barcodes, or am I missing something? Asking for a friend .....
Thought exactly like that last night 2P and the only thing I think changes is Fulham scraping out and either the Barcodes or Brighton take the drop. Fulham have actually played good football but no luck in front if goal?
Some people on here have expressed concern re. playing them. Personally, I can't wait as an attacking team is the type of team we tear apart.
It’s not wrist slashing time yet maybe after the weekend games ? Did we honestly expect to beat WH or do we expect to beat Chelsea
Still think our results haven't been a fair balance as only 2 drawn. Usually you would expect to have seen at least 6 draws out of 27 games, which would then have given us 4 more points and a much healthier points per game average. West Ham game should have been a draw at worst, but we have lost games we deserved to win too many times, should have won or at least drawn.
That would never change though mate as our style of play gets punished more when it breaks down in a division where the finishing is more lethal. The first goal yesterday was always going to be important and we are once again all thinking if only our finishing was better. Harrison has once again lost all form after the first quarter, Costa is extremely hit and miss, Klich has been terrible for a while and Bamford is now missing the chances we all expected him to at the start of the season. I believe we hit a few teams cold at the start of the season, yesterday was our first choice back four and we looked shaky at every set piece. We’ve a very long way to go but as long as we survive and recruit it’s another step in the right direction
Up-date 13/3/21 Not changing my spreadsheet to accommodate Palace. Anyway based on averages we are still in 11th Full up-date after the Wolves March on Monday Could our match with Fulham on Friday see us lay the London jinks laid to rest.
