Genuine appreciation from the Radio Nottingham commentary team, and especially from Steve Hodge who contributed perceptively throughout. Especially appreciative of Rupp's performance, being a talented midfielder himself.
Just realised that Barnsley are closer to Watford than Watford are to us. What an incredible season so far.
If it weren't for Bournemouth still being in the FA cup we would have had a chance to mathematically secure our play-off place at the weekend if we won and they lost as it is, the earliest we could possibly do it is on Good Friday.
Chris Hughton's comments were really interesting. I particularly like what he said about the team being well drilled with many players having played the same way for 3 years. Just really highlighted for me the benefit of sticking with the same coaching team and playing philosophy through thick & thin. We are now reaping the benefits of NOT constantly change our playing style and hopefully by next season we will have improved even more and be able to avoid relegation from the PL. SW & DF and certainly playing the infinite game.
Spot on canario, as at last the long-term commitment is paying off. Last time we went up with a relatively inexperienced squad and the youngest defence in the PL. This time we have the quality and experience to have a real go at survival. Here's WhoScored's ratings for last night as Kieran Dowell arrives with a bang: Ian Holloway was impressed: "It was like watching Brazil. I have to say, that is as good a Championship team as I've ever seen play. They look like a Premier League side playing against a Championship side." https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwich-city/ian-holloway-colin-murray-norwich-city-7833542
Great comments by Ian Holloway last night on Quest. Compared us to Brazil. Can't argue with that Sorry posted before I read the above.
