Police have launched a murder probe after a man was stabbed to death in broad daylight on a street in London. Officers were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of a man, thought to be aged 19, with stab wounds at around 12.15pm today on Alpha Road in Croydon. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene and no arrests have yet been made.

Town planners must have been on some serious hallucinogenic drugs when they designed Croydon. No real centre to the town and a dirty great 6 lane motorway going right through the middle of it. Criss-crossed with trams and bus terminals, mahoosive tower blocks everywhere making it look like Damian from The Omen got a Lego set for Christmas.
