Ready or not, here it comes.
    Mo money mo problems.
I can give you all my love anything else you want to.
Here we are now entertain us.

All the paradigms that very much wont happen over a summer of watching England fall to Iceland or similar, and sure as eggs is eggs, we'll still have Hoedt and Lemina on our books, zero left backs and Ings carried on his form of going all Spursy on us.

Have a great summer, if you see a great rumour Saints related, stuck it here. If you want to talk cheese, stick it up your ****.

AS in Spain are reporting that Southampton have reportedly held talks with the agent of Levante winger Jorge De Frutos.
He has a €25 million release clause and was originally sold to Levante by Real Madrid for £4 Million.

Won’t know until the window shuts, but it will be interesting to see how much our transfer budget/spend is and how much it depends on selling players.

This summer we go into a weird window.

I don't think we need the overhaul we have needed in the past as out current best 11-13 is good. And when they are good they are REALLY good.

However, we need cover at LB & RB and think we need a new striker to replace Ings as I am sure he will go.

This year would have been so different with a bit of luck on the injury front. Though that I think would have masked the underlying issues of squad depth.

The Euros may also have an impact on the window. Not that we’ll be signing German or Spanish internationals, but moves may be delayed because of the tournament and could have a knock on effect of when other clubs can let players go.

E.g. if Ings did go to the Euros and was sold, it might not be until later in the window and getting a replacement may not happen before that.

So, what do we all think we will get. I have a feeling Ralph will be backed and get his way a little this summer.

LB - maybe 2 as I’m not sure what is going on with Bertrand, anyone have any info?
    RB
    Someone to partner Armstrong
    Walcott on a free
    Ings replacement

Also, I wonder if there is a list of out of contract players for next season, and another list with those only having 1 year left on contracts, I’d imagine these will be our market.

And a new CB if Vesty goes.

I can’t see Ings going to the Euros in a million years, been injured too much, not scoring and out of form when he does play. His head is blatantly with his new club and not giving us anywhere near 100%. Southgate has far better in form options to chose from. Ings can get his move to City, Spurs, Arsenal or Hammers early doors

I thought he looked good for them. Faded in the 2nd half, but their entire team were poor in that 45 mins.

The club must follow the business route, if they can get a decent price then shake hands and move on. Frankly I'm bored stiff with this year after year saga with our so called star players, my main concern is that Ralph stays!

Faded in the 2nd half? Perfect, sign him up, he will fit in well.

Not sure we need another keeper, but we should probably put in a bid for that kit.

Forcing opposing players to instinctively look away from the goal in disgust likely has its benefits.

City will be shopping in the summer then, and no I don’t believe they will go for Ings.
