It wasn't cancelled by the police it was the high court and it was the same group called 'reclaim them streets'.

Yes it is black and white and in this case peoples health can be endangered. Another decision these people took. If I do that in my workplace where mortality and maintaining peoples quality of life is a constant and I endanger people its abuse, again criminal.

    Black and white?

My wife and my daughter both take a chemo therapy drug for a genetic condition, chemo therapy drugs lower your immune system to virtually zero, both have been virtual prisoners for over 12 months.

Their only respite is the odd supermarket shopping excursion, why should they be put into a situation where they might be close to somebody who has either been to a mass event like this, where social distancing was trashed or unwittingly come into contact with somebody that has? is that black and white enough?

And here in a nutshell is the truthful irony of the sham hijacking of the 'vigil'.

Yesterday the greater Manchester police announced that they had identified 809 more grooming gang members, you would consider that big news wouldn't you? especially considering whole movement and part of the reason of the vigil was 'female safety'? but no, has it been on the mainstream media outlets no, the only references I can find is the link I have attached and Metro magazine, have left wing or other womens groups like 'reclaim them streets' condemned this national scandal?, not at all. Is the sisterhood now mobilising to have more 'vigils' in Manchester and show their outrage and solidarity to the females who were and still are being abused on an industrial scale? are they f*** and why not?

Please somebody explain to me why this is not being used to highlight the dangers and abuse that mainly young females face on a daily basis, there must be a reason?

I was quietly contemplating the Cheltenham races today and then Jiffie posts the above.

Not many things makes my blood boil more than the 'whitewash' (am I allowed to say whitewash ?) of Asian gangs grooming and abusing young girls.
The Police are scared stiff to do anything for fear of the Woke backlash.
They're damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Exactly as breaking up a recent 'vigil'.

It is not just the police, it was social workers and politicians local and national.

The labour MP Naz Shah famously retweeted a tweet stating that 'abuse victims should shut their mouths for the good of diversity', that vile woman is still robbing a living from the public purse, she should have thrown out of parliament.

In 2017 Corbyn sacked Sarah Champion from his front bench for daring to say "Britain has a problem with British Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls".

The now leader of labour was DPP when he tried to suppress this national scandal.

Of course Saint Andy Burnham has been unusually silent over this matter as well.

Of course the problem is for the left this is not a London metrocentric problem mainly involving white British males.

And even worse is the fact that quite a number of the Rochdale 'grooming gang' including those identified as it's leaders were also illegal immigrants, who through the actions of parasite human rights lawyers have won the right to remain in the UK FFS. One poor victim even found out that one of these men was even allowed to live in the same community as her on his release from prison, that's how little regard those thousands of young females are held in.

As previous comment, my friends were there and have spoken to her at length since. They started to leave the common around 6.45 to get a taxi which arrived about 30 mins later, one or 2 rowdies turned up and started to be mouthy and appeared to be stirring things up. They were there since 3pm and everything was quiet, friendly and respectful on both sides. when they left in taxi there was about 300 or more people there and quite a few in the streets heading that way. Short noses or long, good eye sight or poor until 645pm everything was OK the rabble that arrived later was the problem.
Looks like I spoke to soon, as a young runner? walker was accosted by a male this past week. It was on one of the more open and busiest parts of the downs, such a brazen assault. I have an alarm and a spray! one in each hand.

Yes I saw that, it's such a great pity Bristol has a lot of open areas and parks, that are just not safe anytime of day and I don't blame you for taking precautions.
    Stay safe.

Attacking the police and police station, 2 police vehicles set alight, at least 2 police officers in hospital with broken bones.

But I suspect it was the fault of the police.

They are anti democracy sub human scum of the earth. That included Extinction rebellion, BLM and other left wing **** houses.

The cowards are even trying to attack the fire brigade FFS.

    Police attacked with scaffold poles.

Few hundred metres away was the BRI a symbol of what is good. Here people fight to save peoples lives. Here people fight to save peoples lives in the time of a pandemic.

At the foot of the hill were the scum.

It's about time the government started to proscribe certain groups like BLM, extinction rebellion and others who have links to the violence and mayhem of last night, freeze any assets they may have and start jailing it's leaders.

I'm just waiting to be told it was a peaceful vigil.

It was a protest to protest. Think they’ve ****ed up any chances of having protest again.

Peaceful protests are essential in a democracy, obviously the idiots that attacked the police etc need to be dealt with in an appropriate fashion

I don't think the police have done themselves any favours with their inaction at the statue toppling debacle, I don't think taking the knee has helped them or making vacuous tik tok dancing videos or spending time investigating spurious so called hate crimes, it's about time that they got back to dealing with crime 'WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOUR' instead of pandering to the minority, stand up for the law abiding majority for a change.
