Gibson injury a big worry, I'd hope Giannoulis can shake his off over the break.

Another game closer to home. Watford 8 points behind, in theory Swansea can match that with their games in hand.

So minimum of 8 points ahead of third, 8 games to play.

 

Too many poor touches today. Both Teeemu & Emi should have won it late on.

 

We have adequate cover for Giannoulis (Quintilla, Sorensen), the loss of Gibson is far more of a worry. Need Cardiff to win the Welsh derby now.

 

I'm sure we'll go up but it'll be a difficult watch next season. Blackburn played well & with good energy - that'll be the case every game in the Prem.

 

I thought Zimmermann looked reasonably sharp when he came on and he’s had a fair few appearances. He deserves a chance having been our best defender until that guy from West Ham tried to end his career and got off scot free.

Disappointing result perhaps based on before the game, but given how well Blackburn played and the disruption of injuries, plus the fact that we did not create enough, a good point in the end.

Our points today would have got us automatic promotion last season...

 

This is why some of us are not counting our chickens. Injuries and chances not taken hurt bad today.

I'd rather see Rupp in the middle. I like the way he brings the ball up the middle of the pitch. Hope he gets healthy soon.

 

At least this will end the triumphalism of 'are we the best team ever to play in the Championship?' and all the talk of 100+ points. Let's get promoted first and then worry about all the rest afterwards.

 

Farke confirmed Giannoulis was a suspected concussion. Agree we have cover, but fair chance that it doesn't keep him out when we don't play until April 2nd.

From the photos I've seen of the angle Gibson's ankle made, I'd be surprised if he plays again this season.
