Absolutely disgraceful - bloody keyboard warriors.... Apparently, Whittaker and his girlfriend Aldi suffered abuse last night ......
There are some right bellends out there. Some of the stuff posted about Whittaker and his girlfriend is out of order. The poor girl was just posting how pleased he was getting his chance and how proud she was, then when he doesn’t score the pricks all blame him and her.
Regrettably, every 606 board I have visited, and participated in, has it's fair share of keyboard warriors. They are basically sad losers in life. Anyone remember the abuse dished out to Bob Bradley, on this particular board. Then there was the abuse dished out to Scott Sinclair's girlfriend. I could go on.
@Taffvalerowdy - so what's your opinion of Pivac now? I have to say we're making progress and apart from the last ten minutes on Saturday, we played really well. I'm optimistic now. Unfortunately we've run out of games to really judge!
@daimungeezer - the jury is still out for me. The changes made on Saturday (taking off Biggar, Cawdor etc), in my opinion, cost us the Grand Slam. The implementation of the driving maul came as a result of copying what Booth has introduced at the Ospreys .... Pivac experimented last Autumn by trying to change our game plan - that is now being spun as a successful learning phase, whereas another equally valid interpretation is that what he was trying to do failed miserably at international level and so they largely returned to the tried and trusted approach of Gatland. Don’t forget, there were over 900 caps worth of experience in the starting XV in Paris... Yes - we seem to have developed (as well as the driving maul) a sharper cutting edge, borne out by the record number of tries we scored, yet we faced 3 teams reduced to 14 men and played - arguably - the weakest Italian side in years (and that’s saying something)! My concern is that Pivac will very soon have to rebuild the team - including AWJ, Biggs, the Sheriff and Tips - and is he capable of doing so? Being Welsh I truly hope so, but I have my reservations
You make some valid points Time will tell. What was disappointing was the fact a team with that many caps, despite the changes, couldn't see it out a man up!
Surprise surprise the WRU has appointed interim CEO Steve Phillips into the role permanently.... effectively promoted from Finance Director...... So Rob from Geog has made his first major decision as the new Chairman - I wonder how wide-ranging the search was to find the best candidate to take the WRU forward at this important juncture..... Forgive me for being somewhat underwhelmed - can’t imagine the (independent) Regions are chuffed to bits at this news.....
Hoots mon an a gud dee tes yee all. C'mon you Jacks Jocks Can't see France beating the Scots by 20. Got a feeling Scotland will win this one anyway.
