Billy, comm, Tel and Makemsrule, Grandpops are just a few that stick in my mind. My mate Bri is a huge loss, he used to be a big part of this forum and his knowledge and passion for Safc is a loss. Saffy still pops on now and then as does Disco but not having them here frequently is disappointing. Blunham was probably the nicest kindest bloke weve had. He used to inbox me regularly, and offer advice. Rip mate.
Maximus off rtg was a great poster and proper lads fan. I liked reading his posts. Your a good poster mate, fly off the handle but say it as it is. I like that and people like you
Aye, Blunham, Grandpops and Billy are massive losses on here, cant imagine how they are missed by their loved ones.
I have been on here 2 minutes so know none of them. What I will say is I have never fancied forums at all but being on here has changed my mind. Some cracking reading and loads of different opinions which gets me thinking. Loving it. If you say we have lads who are gone then RIP from me. This place seems a haven for good people so I have no doubt they are sadly missed by many.
Good post mate, makes you think. I wish Bri would post again, one of the best lads I've met in 50 years supporting the Lads, a real enigma. I persuaded him to meet us at Bradford for the Poyet FA Cup game despite him not having a ticket, we had none either. By the time he arrived we'd sorted two Sunderland and one, for him, in the end to our left which was home. We all went in and, even before kick off, there he was in our section with that big daft grin ... ... the highlight of an otherwise dreadful day
You will do mate, always a pleasure. I'll be at the SOL as soon as I can ... ... you know where to find me, that first pint will be so good.
We’ve lost some great posters, we’ve retained the majority though. Mad to think we’ve in the main all been here since BBC 606 maybe 10-12 years? Folk have way shorter marriages. Only forum I use for SAFC and only one I read, as I value opinions on it.
Doubt there’s a club on earth that’s had the same turmoil. Wouldn’t change it, but excited for some stability and progress now.
There’s always someone arguing, it must have been serious!! Seem to remember he lived in Chester le Street, is that right?
yes mate i think he went on to the facebook or twitter of SAFC i believe he is still Cest on there a good poster he was, his favorite was saying **** off cock breath first time i heard it had a good laugh
