Tottenham have planning permission for phase 3 of the stadium development, this is the area between Lillywhite house and Sainsbury 's up to the high rd This will be known as Northumberland Terrace
AFAIK : 1. some/all of the buildings in that terrace are "listed" (in one form or other) 2. THFC occupies one of the buildings already Therefore my money is on some "gentrified" apartments development (perhaps some token "social housing" offered) . I doubt that office development is happening (no demand IMHO in that parish) .
This bit is a cultural centre, whatever that means. It includes a music studio and record label and supposedly features an international artist. Interesting to see how this all ties in with gigs and events in the long run.
So Phase 3 is not football related at all by the look of it. I suppose this is part of the investment into the Tottenham area - putting back into the community. Looks interesting.
Apparently we've played as many Premier League games at the new stadium without fans as we have with fans (19). What a depressing statistic, if true.
Imagine if we were building it in 2004 Suffice to say Bill Nick wouldn't have been the only manager buried under it...
1. Match day revenues 2. A full house home crowd to : - attempt to lift the team to greater performances - ensure a manager gets the message
But nobody will mention that when mouthing off about us not signing Haaland, Mbappe and Gnabry this summer
