Now, if you belonged to the ranks of islam..... !!!, your wife would have to walk at least 5 paces behind you.
Sadly, there are STILL some who post regularly on here, who do NOT accept alternate viewpoints. Which is why I have them, of course.
Swansea City still 3rd in the table, with 69 points. Team in 7th place, on 62 points, and team in last place on 30 points. Yet you don't have anything positive to say about THOSE stats, preferring to quote an opposition teams manager re substitutions. Selective commenting, it's called. You don't sound like a committed Swansea City supporter to me, but since I haven't, apparently, posted on here recently, what do I know ? What I DO know is that all the teams sitting outside the top 6 would willingly swap places with The Swans', who are where they are, BECAUSE of Cooper. He is, after all, The Manager.
I suspect that, with this squad, if Farke or Frank were our Manager, we would be in the Top Two - hypothetical I know but .... so BECAUSE of Cooper we are only 3rd (albeit Brentford have a game in hand, Barnsley have (positive) momentum etc etc
We are third at the moment in spite of Cooper his stubbornness in timing or lack of timing of substitutes in many games have cost us. Our football is non existent we just try to kick and rush with no end result as our players are too short or mistime jumps. We are slow and pedantic moving forward and prefer the sideways and backwards ball from midfield. We do not pass more than once any more especially to our own. Has he lost the dressing room or do these players believe their own hype? We have played well in some games and yet in others we have been awful....time for a new boss? Who knows
Indeed there is but when insidious comments are made about posters who do not think Cooper is the bee's knees then that not having an opinion
" Insidious ". Do you actually know what that word means ? Are you even aware of your constant demolition of Cooper ?
Chelsea 2 WBA 5. Wow, what a scoreline. Now, is that despite Tuchel or because of Big Sam ? Or perhaps it's because of Tuchel and despite the Big fella ? Cooper had no input, mercifully, so he can't get blamed, either way. Yet some on here will try and involve him. Speaking insidiously, of course. As one does. despite and because, of everything.
Course Cooper had an input - if he hadn’t borrowed Guehi, he may have played instead of the ‘old guy’ who got sent off .....
Starting with the Huddersfield match, our Championship results since and including that game are: Huddersfield lost 4-1 Coventry won 1-0 Bristol City lost 3-1 Stoke won 2-1 Boro won 2-1 Blackburn drew 1-1 Luton won 1-0 Bournemouth lost 3-0 Cardiff lost 1-0 Brum lost 1-0 So, in summary, Played 10 Won 4 Drawn 1 Lost 5 13 points out of 30 points. Not relegation form, but not promotion form either.
Not far of relegation form. If you also look at the lucky results that could 9 points and your talking getting sacked then.
Agreed, if we hadn’t had the 2 late penalty winners and if Luton had deservedly equalised ..... On Planet Swans, they have had a vote - yes or no - would you sack Cooper. Almost 500 people have voted and roughly 2/3rds voted for him to be sacked. The view on that Board seems to be that we are not a passing side, we are not a possession side, we are not a creative side, indeed, at times we don’t even look like a football side..... In short, their view is that Cooper has taken away our footballing identity .....
I'm afraid to agree with you but I do, even Bradley had the players passing with their instep . Now its hopeful long punts up towards Lowe with no one within spitting distance to pick up any knock downs. Our wing backs have become non existent as an attacking thread and the the team seem to be scared to make a mistake .It'll take a lot to turn this round if it can be at all.
I’d bring in David Wagner on a short term contract until the end of the season to ‘assist’ Cooper..... He’s worked with Winter before and has secured a promotion to the PL
