Match Day Thread Leeds Utd v Sheffield Utd

Evening all. Great 3 points when we could have bottled it and chucked points away. This group have the bollocks to get the job done.
We were safe on 38, now we shouldn't even be considering safety. Onwards and upwards, let's finish top half at least.

 

Heckinarse maintains that it was a perfectly fair tackle & not at all reckless. He's trying to deflect it by suggesting that Roberts followed though with his knee - but of course immediately says that he's not seen a replay to confirm.

I've just realised why I've always hated him, the smug basturd.

 

Met Heckingbottom in Minorca the summer he left Leeds. Seemed alright.

He was sat next to us with his wife in a little bar by the harbour. A bit of a weird 5 minute conversation as I was a Leeds fan and he had just been sacked by Leeds. He was polite enough though. We kind of steered away from the football fairly quickly.

 

except if you’d seen the blunts play you’d realise they’re competitive in most games. If we were more dominant than the score line I’m not sure how the performance is disappointing. I thought we were great for 70 mins today.

Another thing I noticed today was the amount of times their players went down screaming like they'd been hit by a Hammer.

 

It's practise just in case I get a call up to the first team. Someone has obviously leaked that my timing in the tackle is absolutely shocking, & I make Batty look like a woofter.

Roberts is a ****ing unit though. Baldock isn't the first to come off second best recently.

The downside to being a unit is that he is ****ed after an hour!

 

Match of the Day last night showed the Roberts incident from a different angke and concentrated on the concussion element which is just so BBC. Forget the straight red card and concentrate on being woke. Yes the head injury rule is a fkg joke but so too is GBH on telly

 

Agree but I thought in the time he was on he was at last maybe showing what he can do,the pass to Harrison which led to the 2nd goal was sublime, as was the resulting cross

 

Don't know how you could follow through with the knee when you ain't even looking at the guy, if you pardon the pun a load of bollocks
