Just watched the first two episodes of "The Serpent" on Netflix. A chilling true story of a Bangkok gem dealer and his girl friend in the 1970s who lured foreign tourist couples to his club and home with the promise of cut-price deals on gemstones, before gruesomely murdering them. And of the junior diplomat at the Dutch Embassy who disobeyed the warnings of his superiors to track him down. Hard to watch...but worth it.

Yes, I watched it when it was up on the BBC, a really good watch, but as you say very difficult at times.

Enjoyed “ Run “ on Netflix, had a bit of the film “ misery “ about it... not brilliant but definitely worth a watch...

Remember watching the first season, quite enjoyed it. One of those, "Can't remember why I stopped watching, but it was good"

Search engine is for the programmes you know what you know, the codes are for the ones in the background which some you may not know is there.
Have you tried it yet mate?

I watch very little on Netflix, I'm more of a Youtuber. Auditing Britain is very dry and funny, IMO. Proof that the police are more likely to issue a crime number, and not turn up in person if you're a victim, but point a camera at their station and it's a full turnout, and some!

A new series of Meet the Richardsons starts tomorrow on Dave, very lightweight sitcom but it's still our Lucy B and her humorous husband Jon Richardson.

i watched it on your recommendation and told a pal who binged it in one go - its on bbc iplayer, and we both agreed it was good but they should have reduced it to 6 episodes as it got a bit slow in the middle.
he in turn told me to watch shackleton the two part mini series from 2002 starring kenneth brannagh. apart from too much time devoted to the pre planning and then at the end it was allover too quick it was very realistic and along the same lines as terror.
dont google or imdb it as spoilers ruin it and just watch it.
dunno where you will find it though

I think i'll pass on that. I hate the accents of the idiots that live in that area.

Yes it will be interesting to see Colin Farrell and Stephen Graham attempting a Hull accent, Tom Courtenay should be OK though.

Sean Connery was the same - every part he played (Spanish Count in Highlander, Russian submarine commander etc) he played with his own Glaswegian accent <laugh>
