Outstanding read. I think I mentioned a while ago that this fella would be the boy here and no more skulduggery and piss taking would happen. He literally has the club at heart. Like a proper fan with roots back to local community.

I got sent another piece that said he was initially interviewing in September 2020. Shows how far back this takeover was actually in the works.

It could have been Donald and Methven who instigated this.
And for all their failures they got us to this point
We could of folded .
Sometimes you have to accept the rough to get the smooth.

Donald and Methven could not afford to let the club fold, and I don't believe they had the foresight or available cash to employ him or they would not have been cutting costs so much selling young players.

 

Yeh - may be reading too much into it but there's a line in this article which suggests he was involved in the recruitment of Speakman, which obviously happened before KLD was even announced, let alone this guy in place.

No, I'm on about Kyle Louis Dreyfus mate.
Anyways it's all ifs and buts and water under the bridge now.
We were close to going up with Ross and possibly would have with Maja.
Who knows what situation we'd of been in now ?
One possibility is worse by going straight back down and not having as good an owner as KLD.
So although still stuck in league 1 I'm happy now we have good investment and vision.
All we need to do now is get the fook up

Imagine where the team would be now if the takeover was not dragged on for so long by the asset strippers, even so it has been worth waiting to get the new structure in place.
