Your club is the skint one as yours has to pump in hundreds of millions just to keep it afloat .

Nope, the owner chose to invest his dosh into the club to both clear its debts and provide additional funds to try and make us more competitive. We ran for well over a decade without a penny of investment under Kenwright.

No, as he’s spending his money by choice. We survived as a self sustaining club before he arrived, but we were never going to close the gap when our revenues were £3-400m p.a. behind the clubs ahead of us. So far he’s had little value for his money, some bad managerial appts and some awful recruitment, but I think under Carlo and Brands he’s far more likely to get what he’s after.

If he left tomorrow we’d have to go back to self sustainment and we’d be akin to Newcastle.

if he left tomorrow you would need another owner willing to pump money in as your revenue / expenses ratio is scary .

Ivan Toney was abused by his own fans because Brentford were held to a draw yesterday

Without his goals they would be in the bottom three

Apologies for interupting your Prem jizz fest but it shows how bad it is throughout football

Yes mate, all you use to hear was the only loyalty in football was from the fans, more and more that is diminishing. The abuse out there is sad really. I do wonder sometimes though is the abuse from club fans or just pretenders, either way it's a sad state of affairs.
Brentford always seem to be the bridesmaid never the bride. Think it will be the same again this year.
