Whatever team we put out we should win this. West brom are terrible. Just 4 wins and a -34 GD, conceding 59. They are down and there is no way they can win. About as unlikely as a woman winning the Grand National.
Arsenal’s win tonight (barring a miracle in the last 5 minutes) means that Saints can no longer finish bottom.
We need to get to the edge of the box and have a few strikes and hopefully stick a few in to burn a hole in Fat Sam's escape plans.
Let's face it, any team managed by king size Sam Allardyce is all huff and very little puff and apart from the odd freak result, they are just a drag. Hopefully the blisteringly hot version of Saints turn up tonight and blow West Brom away.
Question - if we went 1-0 up in a game, then went 1-2 down before equalising to finish 2-2, should it class as 2 points lost from a winning position or 1 point gained from a losing position?
Apparently there's a game tonight. You wouldn't know it on here. Not a criticism, but a telling sign of us not playing blistering football and pushing for Europe, and also not being embroiled in a relegation fight now. Meaningless game against a meaningless club, with a meaningless manager. Roll on 3 points, a Grumpy Fat Sam and then a cup semi for us all to talk about! COYR
