I also think the decision to not awars man united a goal was correct

He hits him in the face, the ref should've blown his whistle

Nah he's eyes on the ball and he doesn't even see Longstaff coming... What's he supposed to do? Not clear it when it's dropping in the 6 yard box?

He gets to ball 1st too

It's a foul he does it deliberately... If I'm. A Tottenham fan and they say the foul doesn't count because man united scored I'd be wronged.

I don't listen to popular opinion especially not when it's man united..

Have you ever played the game? It's a contact sport. These incidents are part of the game.

Yes, but unfortunately that's a foul these, days, so why shouldn't it have a been foul?

The fans and managers still want it both ways... To Tottenham its a foul to man united it shouldn't matter because the scored.

The pundits, the commentary, the media is 80% man united, so if course they roll the snowball down the hill, but if it was the other way around they'd be saying what I'm saying and so would the lemmings

Every VAR decision this weekend was wrong. Wolves probably the worst of the lot.

    Ours wasn’t far behind mind.

This “he doesn’t see Longstaff coming” is absolute ****ing horseshit. His foot is 6’ in the air, in the box, which by every letter of the law is a foul therefore a penalty. Where does it say “dangerous play isn’t dangerous if he’s looking the wrong way”?? VAR makes it worse because we’re all looking at a freeze frame with Tarkowskis foot too high, connecting with longstaffs face, and it’s not a foul. Only slightly dumber than adjudging Wolves players arm to be offside. It’s ruining what is already a shadow of a sport.

Correct im saying he hits son in the face on purpose... Im saying if I'm that defender I'm kicking the ball clear anf he did... What's he supposed to do let Longstaff score or just head it across his goalline?

For me the games gone mad and lost the ability to understand the meaning of the word foul play

The offside was a dreadful decision, but that's not a pen for me.. He's got to clear the ball and Longstaffs got to try a head it in the goal.. If the defender doesn't do it nufc score and people say wtf was he doing just boot it clear.

The ref should've blown his whistle when son was hit in the face... If the ref gets his job right, he blows his whistle, man united don't score and nobody complains.

But its a foul if you raise your foot that high when their are others heads in the vicinity. He should have gone with his head.

I don't agree because if he goes with his head he can't clear the danger.

I understand this dangerous play rule, but it's nonesense in this scenario.. He doesn't know Longstaffs even there for a start.

For me that's a defender doing what he has to do and an opposition player doing what he has to do.

    The player gets the ball.

I've made my case it's only my view on things newcastle won and its all just cry arsing about nothing imo

    It was 100% a penalty.

The high boot rule really falls under dangerous play. If a player kicks too high trying to kick or control a ball, AND it could be dangerous to surrounding players, then it's a foul for dangerous play and an indirect free kick is awarded. ... If the foul occurs in the penalty area, then a penalty kick is awarded.

Not for me.. He's just clearing his lines... Defenders do that in every game, so is every clearance a penalty now?

Btw all the media cry arsing about son going down.

Hmmm they didn't complain when Rashford dived for **** all vs nufc home and away did they?

No the narrative was that there was contact and he has to go down.

So having your foot 6ft in the air doesn't count as dangerous play in your eyes?

If it's a high boot, which isn't allowed then yes.
