I think we do have a clear system under Johnson. His preferred formation is clearly the 4-2-2-2 that we've seen so much of. The good thing about him, though, is that he's not wedded to one formation or one approach. As he's said himself, he picks the team and the formation based on the opposition. That's the basis of good football management. One defeat doesn't mean that he needs to change that approach. Even Fergie used to do that. You can't just pick the same 11 in the same formation week in, week out anymore. You'll be worked out very quickly if you do that.

Couldnt give a **** me. If we dont get promoted this season we'll get promoted at some point in the near future I'd expect, probably with a team better equipped for the Championship. If not then there will be something seriously wrong.

Agree. I think we will be a very strong team next season, I just don't want to have to endure another season of **** referees and faux rivalries with tin pot clubs desperate for us to take notice of them

Living in Peterborough, never thought I'd see the day where they'd be playing in a league above us. Absolute AIDS.

I am reluctant to drop Wyke, but I have noticed in the last few games he has struggled to get across defenders, crosses are still going in maybe not as many but he is not getting on the end of them. Its hardly surprising, he has played every minute of every game lately, and takes a lot of punishment from the opposition without much protection, I am sure LJ will have noticed this too, and should imo spread the load a bit, we have alternatives now and maybe all can benefit from this..

Well I couldn’t have before the takeover but no problem now the team will be unrecognisable to this one ( I hope ) it could be one of the most exciting seasons you will ever see. + the mags are stuck with pie man for another season doesn’t get much better <laugh>

    Im a bit the opposite.
Before the takeover (and with parky) I was expecting another season in this league.
With the upturn in results since LJ came in, I will be gutted if we don't get it done this season.
I dont think Hull and Peterborough will win all their games, and I don't think we will either. Win on tuesday, then take three, possibly even two, more points than Peterborough over 6 games.

Could be referring to more than Wyke, Gooch or Winchester maybe both were very poor imo .

i agree on Winchester, I'd love to see his game stats, cos i'm certain he hides during games, infuriates me regularly.
