Also looked at the LG Nanocell tv.

issue with that Bravia is it’s the end of line and that’s why it’s on offer and you only get 1 yr guarantee from the manufacturer.

Sony always use to be regarded as a top and reliable brand. I don't hear so much about them in the digital age, but I'm assuming along with Panasonic they are still up there.

Without doing any research, £599 looks a decent price but I'm not up todate with what TV's are expected to have these days, so i'd be looking for some advice from someone much younger than me.

Will be honest, I spent over a grand on a tv many years ago, I will not ever be making that mistake again. Regarding features it's always worth checking what the updates are on them, regarding the apps or whatever they are called.

Samsung stopped updating some of the apps on their early models, some years back which caused a bit of an uproar at the time, but for £599 on a Sony, can't really complain.

What I mean by apps, it's like telling me the TV has Youtube and Amazon, then finding out a year or three down the line the features no longer work.

Are private parking tickets enforceable? Sure I've read somewhere that they're not in the same way that local authority ones are.

    Can anyone confirm?
