Mrs Two had been cutting my hair since the first lockdown, I always suspected she doesn't like me! :emoticon-0100-smile

I'm told @minerva_hull will be back in business Tuesday. I understand it's taken the intervention of Steve Brady the leader of @Hullccnews
and deputy and senior officers to make it happen.

I suspect a council clipboard-warrior may have not visited the common-sense dept. #hull

they’ve done this in Greek street & a few other places in Leeds. Think part of Oxford street & deansgate in Manchester have done the same.

Yet in Hull, they are closing bars down on the Marina. Unbelievable

We made a last minute decision to pop to Hotham Arms tonight, decent meal, the place was full, lots of people laughing and being normal again.

It was bloody freezing, but bloody good.

The guy who owns Minerva thinks he owns all the seats outside, he doesn’t, they are council seating for the general public, I suspect that’s the issue

When did that rule slip in? They made a big thing about soap actors having to learn to do their own makeup when those returned to TV.

They did this last summer too and people do go down there. Trouble is last year the different pubs/restaurants used red and white plastic tape as barriers to mark their respective territories, a bit tacky and made like the streets look like crime scenes!

I would imagine if he has done the above then this could be the real reason why it’s shut.

There may be more to this, as on the face of it, it seems a tad ridiculous...
