Maybe it's a necessity for your club because of the debt it is carrying? The World’s Most Valuable Soccer Teams: Barcelona Edges Real Madrid To Land At No. 1 For First Time (forbes.com)
I’ve been...went to watch Huddersfield in League 1 plenty times, even seen them play your lot once. Fans being shouty in the ground isn’t enough...the product isn’t great. It’s only great for those who support the teams, which is fine with me tbh but you’ll be hard pushed to sell it to anyone else. You’re a Southampton fan that enjoys the riches offered by PL money like the Ings of this world yet crave mediocrity and jumpers for goalposts when playing the game. It won’t happen...you need to start hating your own club and what they are today instead of living in the past...I’m not for the super league btw...it’s just that I’m not up for fans crying about big fish eating little fish all of a sudden when I know on a weekly basis they strive off that very thing happening in the PL so long as a handful of teams are kept at bay...the same teams you got a bigger issue with joining this SL than others it seems. Don’t forget your City scarf on Sunday because they’re playing Spurs...bare bantz potential.
You and the others who are dead against it based on the same morals the nearly men have been crying about in the PL ever since the sheiks and gangsters took over some clubs. Forest, Villa...these are examples of massive clubs I’ve been hearing about since yesterday whose glories of 50 years ago have been churned out since yesterday to remind the nasty 6 that these are massive clubs...their ****in dogshit no one gives a monkies about today...tossing it off in league 1. You might have the numbers behind you in this argument but I can’t help but see all yours hypocrisies coming out since yesterday.
Of course we are joining for the money...no one denying that. The stadium was built for the purpose of holding non football events in the hope of making money via non football means so that we can compete with clubs like Chelsea and City on the pitch. Why? Because the sheiks and gangsters took over some clubs and unless you are taken over by them then you got to find another way...the chase has been for glory. Spurs have been the only club outside the traditional top 4 who have been trying in a manner that you should all be commending instead most of the fans think we are a joke when the reality is barring about 4/5 clubs all your clubs would want to emulate us because that’s the natural way to success or at least giving yourself a half chance of achieving it, no guarantees. Should have supported Spurs and given them some love when they were trying to break through...now they’ve ****ed everyone off and grasped the chance to become a big boy without the hard work...found themselves a home where the neutral will appreciate the product and badge. I blame you all
I don’t really hate Spurs mate. That’s just pantomime. On the other hand, I’ve never liked the PL. I have an unbreakable bond with my old club, but I’m that close to turning it in and watching Barnet tbh. They never ****ing win either so I’d feel at home.
someone gotta do it...these fans who’s clubs didn’t get the invite have all of a sudden forgotten their role in blowing smoke up the arses of the oligarch’s and sheiks when they were destroying the domestic competition which happened to be the domestic clubs they(these fans)dislike the most...was bantz then...now it’s serious and they all don’t get it.
You're forgetting something bro, Spurs is not a top six club! Yes, they might be financially, but on the pitch no fooking way Proof, look at the current league table, you're not even in the top six, both Leicester and West Ham are above you. Spurs bantz has got boring, everyone knows you have no trophies, and everyone knows in the new ESL you will bottom every week, where's the bantz in that. please log in to view this image
yeh but had the protests and turning your backs on the game and these clubs been as strong as it has over the last 24 hrs..then 15 years later we might not have got to this stage where they are all ready to pack their bags and Spurs have bought..well **** you all..we’ve been invited and we going too. You lot should have celebrated our organic methods more and we might have stayed. I blame you all for this.
Null and void the whole Prem era. All medals, except CL wins (and UEFA Cups) to be struck from the records. It's the only fair way.
Bro, listen up, I agree you have a £Billion pound ground, the best money can buy. But as it stands today, you have no manager, you have no silverware, you are not even in the PL table top six, you will soon have no Kane, and eventually no league to play in when we kick you out. Think on bro, think on.
All you guise chilling on Moral hill need to up your game a bit with all this Toon takeover talk...that there is an example of how the money monsters slip into the system...let’s hope your beloved PL owners nip that in the bud. Yet if I was a betting man I’d happily bet my house that you’d all be cheering them on because another no mark club has got lucky and made success difficult for the nearly teams at the top like Spurs, Arsenal and Pool to some massive extent. but nothing will happen...you guise can’t even handle one cabbage in the name of Munse single handedly goading you all with the reality that some dodgy **** is trying to buy them out and push your clubs further down the pecking order.
How many clubs would have jumped at the chance to have a rich owner that means they can compete at the top? It's not really the point but relevant. I still don't want any of this to happen but the problem is much more complex than 6 teams pulling away from the rest.
You’re conflating a number of issues in order to try and cobble together a defence of this idea and the involvement of your beloved Spurs. The reason there’s uproar about this, has nothing to do with the money, the clubs involved, or tribal rivalries, it’s about robbing our game of the one thing that makes it so competitive - sporting merit. A closed shop European league removes merit from the equation and moves the game from a genuine competitive sport into the realms of Yank Entertainment. So go take your Spurs top off and have a lie down.
You all spent years cheering on the teams full with the foreign stars because they were getting the better of traditional clubs packed with English players e.g Spurs and now you all crying because that monster wants more and now it’s trickled down to your clubs. Spurs..we tried...we couldn’t beat them..your ****ty teams couldn’t do enough in the season to beat these teams and help us out and now these money monsters have recognised that even though we won nothing we have got everything required to be amongst them and now you all don’t like it why did you all do this to me team? I didn’t want to join the SL but it seems you all left my club with no choice.
