Watched Norwich v Bournemouth last night. Norwich played 70 minutes with 10 men against a very physical Muff and certainly used a lot of energy. Pukki was injured and taken off early second half. He had a large ice pack on his knee, so I wouldn't be surprised if he is missing Tuesday.
Well Coventry just gave us one - they beat Barnsley 2-0. Which virtually puts Barnsley out of contention for second spot.
I didnt count that a a 'big break' as they were just below my radar...but yes they had a chance and Muff do tooo
Swansea 0-0 QPR It's been a pretty low-key second half at the Liberty Stadium. QPR look more threatening while Swansea look like a side who have perhaps given up on automatic promotion and know they'll probably be contesting the play-offs at the end of the season. Would be great if another result can go our way.
GOAL: Swansea 0-1 QPR Lyndon Dykes (89 mins) QPR have the goal they deserve. Albert Adomah's flick finds Lyndon Dykes and the in-form striker blasts in his sixth goal in seven games. Swansea are going to be nine points behind second-placed Watford with three games left if it ends like this.
Swansea 0 QPR 1! They cannot catch us now effectively. 9 points plus big GD difference with 3 to play. Brentford can get to 87 Bournemouth 86 We are on 85 They play each other Saturday lunchtime
So, we can get promoted with a win on Sat? God, I can't wait for Sat. Is it Sat yet? Doesn't Brentford's game in hand mean if they win it they can still catch us? Maths isn't my strong point!
Effectively we need one more point to limp over the line, three to go up comfortably and possibly nine for the championship
Yes a win will do. Brentford can get to 87 but we can reach 88 on Saturday. They play Bournemouth too which is going to be hard. I think Bournemouth will come 3rd and win the play-offs quite easily.
They still can. I still can't really believe how Brentford and Swansea have fallen off the pace we have set though.
Brentford 8 pts from last 6 games, Swansea 7 pts from last 6 games. Proper poor. Sees them 9th and 14th in 6 game form table. Their real worry though is Bournemouth winning all six of their last six matches. Going into play-offs, who would you fancy? Has to be Bournemouth (although I’d prefer it to be Barnsley). Barnsley are 6th in that form table btw.
