A triumph for justice but also common sense ... how anybody watching that video could have come to the conclusion that kneeling on his windpipe for 9 minutes was incidental to his demise rather tham its' prime cause was just sheer lunacy ...
Me and the mrs both sat here heard the verdict and after all the news clips of locals and that felt a great sadness. Sad the man died Sad the cop was so comfortable murdering him slowly for 9mins in front of the public knowing they were so frightened of the police they couldn't physically intervene. 9 whole minutes of pleading and protesting and offering help and That will stay with them for the rest of the thier lives. Sad that after the verdict in general at 1st the reaction we saw was one of silent shock and relief and disbelief. Great result we should never have had tbh.
I'm glad he's been found guilty, he killed him. Whatever you think of George Floyd, he didnt deserve to die like that at the hands of a ****. A racist? Dont know. A ****? Yes! He was never gonna have a fair trial anyway, but folk in high places basically demanding a guilty verdict beforehand? He's more than entitled to appeal. Even if there was 100% proof that his knee didnt kill him he was always gonna be found guilty in order to save a fair few windows and give the fire brigade the night off. There would have been a canny few families expecting to have been doing their early Xmas shopping today. I can imagine they'll be disappointed with the verdict. 'We've got to get justice in this country........and we cannot allow these killings to continue. We've got to stay on the street, and we've got to get more active, we've got to get more confrontational. We've got to make sure that they know that we mean business. I hope we're going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. And if we don't, we cannot go away.' - Congresswoman Maxine Waters, speaking days before the verdict. When you've got the frigging President giving his opinion pre verdict as well? What the **** they playing at? The lawyers will be rubbing their hands with glee over this.
I’ve not followed tbh, so don’t know enough to make my own assessment, but... If you were sat on that Jury, given the events of the last 12 months or so, would you have given any other verdict, regardless of the evidence? I wouldn’t, **** this guy, he’s popo, I ant got time for millions of protestors at my door if I get this wrong. Ciao Dekka lad.
Simply bro there was no defending it. For me personally as I said to my mrs, wehn chauvin chose not to take the stand that for me was enough to know he was guilty and knew full well what he was doing that day. Of course all advice would have Been to not take the stand and it makes sense as to why in most cases but not this one. For me that was chauvins only chance to show remorse and try and explain his actions that day. The fact he took the easy way out and did not explain his actions nor show any remorse for what occurred that day says all any human needs to know. He has no remorse and he could not explain his actions without saying "Yeh i knew he was dying but I thought picking stones out my car tire was more important than listening to george floyyd plead for his life and say" you're gonna kill me" **** him the murdering ****
Im really not sure how it goes down there, what with him being an ex copper. Props into some ex copper wing with the pedo and rapers and child murderers. He won't be sentenced for 8wks anyway I believe. But yh hed Last an hour tops in a normal jail over there. **** I'd give him about 3 minutes tbh.
That’s an absolute ****ing shocker of a comment tbh like. He got found guilty as he was actually filmed killing the bloke in cold blood btw. It hardly needed ****ing Poirot on the case.
