So the longer this goes on the bigger the opportunists look very red faced.

The rats deserting the sinking ship are simply the weakest and the hangers on.

Perez is up to this to his neck. The only question left for lfc fans is how close to the centre of this rotten opinion are fsg.

It's clear city and Chelsea had no real skin in the game but went along to be in the premiere competition. Thier oil money doping is ignored and will be continued to be ignored. Imo psg only went against cos city were in nothing more.

Now the oil barons are out it leaves the other outer layers of the onion to stupid (spurs) to get out and the core so every moment fsg look worse lol

Were PSG actually against or have they just stayed quiet? Bayern only categorically said no this afternoon after Rumennigge joined UEFA's executive committee at lunchtime. Dortmund are the only club with clean hands I think.

Some twitchy arses around tonight. Woodward has lobbed it, other CEO’s apparently on the brink.

Sounds to me, like the finer points of the 177 page contract they signed might have been pointed out to them...

    Whoops.

This has got a while to run yet chaps. City are the only confirmed spewer as they can pay the bill.

    Get ready.

Imo we cannot trust anything psg are saying. Imo they knew all about it and were probably in very close negotiations. There is an intense rivalry there we dont really get to see between the two "countries" they were all bit at each others throats only last year. I would not be shocked at all that the psg lacks were ordered to make it look as bad as possible for city.

I would.like to give bayern a bit of slack as I know they would have held this lot at arms length but they didnt tip off uefa either. The fans vote was always their issue. Imo they had to know exactly what was going on and had the offer and said nothing.

    Lol. Isn't it fun.

    Woodward is out.
Levy has to go. What he did with mourinho and the league cup as well?? Lols.
Fsg is an odd fish so not sure who gets to fall on our sword. Billy Hogan is just a commercial clown. Mike gordan is the guy who should be done but hes a partner in the pool of leeches:)

After that Chelsea fire people all the time anyway.

No owners will be touched I expect so they will all be lining up someone to hang

Bte dortmund who knows. We think they were no 15 but they've hidden. Theres a story there for der Spiegel and bild to tease out.

That’s merely a baseless narrative though. PSG & Bayern didn’t sign, that’s the only facts of the matter.

Bayern would have been unlikely to have got it past their supporters, but didn’t even try and just said no. They’ll have been confined by NDA btw, you can’t hang them for merely having a look and declining.

I’m intrigued for just how much they’re all on the hook for. As Chelsea leaked that they were defo chucking it, and it’s now just ‘they’re considering their position’. Same went for Atlético.

It smacks of some swinging dick lawyer pointing out the exact terms of withdrawal. I’d have loved to have been a fly on the wall when those convos went down.

    Lovely stuff.

Spiegel were saying they could bypass the 50+1 vote, but the part how was paywalled.

To be fair to Bayern, they are run by football men. Greedy, money-grabbing football men, but still.

    True it's just my opinion.

Chelsea claim they decided "last minute" as they felt "the training was leaving"

As I said this is them saying they were only on the outer layer.

I'm pretty sure psg made a call based on some self interest that was not pure and it is just my conjecture that they had a made it in part by the fact city were in and they could damage the rival.country brand.

The non disclosure thing is a good point, could well be the case.

I still think if you are rejecting it you dont ball tickle and go along to the point where uefa are damaged

I'm only looking for details now. I presume they all "signed up" so to get out now means severe issue. They seem to have a company set up and I wonder if they already had the finance borrowed etc.

Yep they all signed a 177 page contract.

It’s going to be fun to watch how this unravels.

All the English clubs have now announced their intention to withdraw, some extremely expensive contract lawyers sharpen their nails. Wonderful stuff.
