Sunderland looked decent last night especially first half, we came back at them second half and looked the team what was going to win it although Sunderland could have done when hitting the bar last minute. Looking ahead to Lincoln, they have got back on form so it will be hard but win there and we are up. Glad we have the points on the board which we have fully deserved because our other away game is Charlton. Lincoln still have two games in hand of us and one of you so the tigers will have to tame them and finish them off.

You'll obviously know far better than me, but I've always seen Peterborough as a team that can really fluctuate in form, and the fans usually see more goals than most other fans. The one consistency seems to be their inconsistency, so I'm probably less likely to write them off than you.

I do agree about Lincoln, but they do have a lot of games close together, so it would only take bookings, injury or fatigue to bite them, but we play them before that will have an effect. If we beat them on Saturday, they can't catch us, and even another draw wouldn't be fatal, but it would keep the pressure on us and motivate others.

I think the fact Peterborough and Lincoln have still got to play each other is a real blessing. It means even a defeat on Saturday isn't the end of the world.

I think I'd take a point on Saturday now, and then we're only a point gained or dropped by Lincoln away from promotion.

But equally that table shows that our last 3 games are against 3 other sides in the top 6 on current form table, and they all have something big to play for. To be honest, we couldn't have chosen a much tougher run in. So, feet still firmly on the ground I hope.

That's pretty much what I was trying to say with the 'touching cloth' comment. <ok>

Don't Lincoln have to go to Shrewsbury, then both Peterborough, and Charlton after us? ...difficult task is that..

Thinking about it, 'touching cloth' is probably inappropriate for a 'run in' thread.

    Both can be linked!!!

On one of my latest weekend trips to Hull for the football(last season),we detoured off the A1 on the Friday afternoon and gorged on fish, chips and scraps from the White Horse Cafe in Thirsk...Glorious they were!! Until...40 or so miles from Hull I started feeling strange stomach pains and felt the urge..

Lad got the boot down but we hit the notorious traffic jams on a Hull Friday afternoon.By the time I got to my cousins pad off Prinny Ave,I was on the verge of an accident!!! Knocked his door, barged past him without saying hello and just made his Lav!!

I won't go into any further detail but a certain scene from Dumb&Dumber comes to mind!!!

Prefer those "in the play offs" sides, than relegation threatened.
