Surprised Harry 'Wheeler Dealer' Redknapp hasn't been all over the media doing the same thing.

Gravy kecks can get in the sea for me.

That bent ****er was Mr Backhander

I’ve watched some utter dross at Goodison over the years but the absolute dogshit he served up was amongst the worst of it, even when we were winning ffs. It was like going to the dentists for a root canal every other weekend.

He thought he’d swum the channel by keeping us up and us finishing 8th, and then Mosh just ****ed him clean off <laugh> He was as bitter as **** about it.

I'm not sure anyone could have enjoyed it more than me. He's so dodgy it's unreal, amazed he's not in prison yet.

He's a much better manager than Bruce though in fairness.

When we complained about him for the football he served up we were lambasted by the media and still get stick for hounding him out to this day.

The fact a number of other clubs fans have the same complaints since has done little too alleviate that narrative.

I unwittingly nearly bought his old car a couple of years back, the bloke told me it had been his, thinking it was a selling point. It wasn’t. True story.

I would have rather had Mike Walker come in than see Sam at Goodison again.

Most of my mates were Liverpool at the time and I decided to back them 2 win title at anfield last game of season,...was great windup material for the next 9 months.......apart from that I never thought Cardiff would ever get out of the 3rd and 4th divisions at the time so carried on watching out for arsenal scores just for some interest in the first division.

And who didn't love the first 10 year's plus of the wenger years......apart from everyone else who were envious of course.....the beautiful game played at Highbury.....amazing 2 watch.

Money fkd it up....tv fkd it up.....players and agents fkd it up.......whilst fans desperately pretend alls good to try and keep something going that died years back in its true form.....like carrying a stuffed relative about pretending they aint fking dead

    Barry Horne at RB though......

**** me we were **** then, brings me out in hives just thinking about it.

Howard’s 3rd spell was a ****ing shocker as well, we just don’t go on about it as the man is a legend. But he served up some absolute chod during that period. Losing 0-3 at home to QPR and being trolled by 2 sets of away fans was my abiding memory of that. As Sunderland were due to play at Tranmere and it was called off a couple of hours before KO, so they sent the coaches over to Goodison and lobbed them in the top tier of the old Park End <laugh>

Don’t remember that game with Sunderland fans. Can’t have gone thankfully.

Early 90’s mate, I was in the Gwladys and I can still see Big Les leaping like a salmon. I think Mark Ward got sent off that day late on, could be wrong.

I still remember ITV having live Sunday afternoon football before SKY. I'm remembering Arsenal for some reason related to it, I'm wondering if they were the first fixture, maybe against Liverpool or Man Utd. Anyway you use to be able to buy a matchday programme in the local newsagents for each game.

Not sure why they pulled the plug on it, I have something in my head that tells me they didn't think it was financially viable, then SKY came along and proved differently.

My dad mentions his back-to-back hat-tricks at least three times a year and rarely in any sort of context. Bloke would be £80m today.
