Actually, there was Minimetro as well, which might have been a better move. But, hindsight is great, right!?
The thing that is strange about our fitness levels is that after project restart we genuinely looked like the fittest team in the league. Now of course they had a nice long break and mini pre season to get fit. But you wouldn't think we have suddenly forgotten how to train for the required fitness levels. Okay things were different and you could expect tiredness when we had no players in January/February and were playing twice a week. But not anymore. I think mental tiredness and fragility which we know we have in abundance is at least as big of a problem.
Again, hindsight. We were looking shaky before Danny went off. I don't think it was some kind of mad decision to bring on Diallo. But sure, it didn't work. Easy to say now.
There's no way that you're going down. Even if you don't get a single point, which I doubt, Fulham won't catch you. They've got five games left, Chelsea next and Man Utd in the penultimate game. Can't see them winning the other three. They've had five wins all season and would have to get close to that to stay up in the remaining five.
How very noble of you, to come pass on your SUPER generous praise to us (for now) premier league fans. I'm SUPER surprised you were able to make time when there's Juve/Barca/Real fans that require the benefit of your SUPER platitudes. I'm truly humbled by your presence. We're so lucky you can give us your SUPER insight
He might come good sure. But right now he isn’t good enough. Needs far too long on the ball, gets caught out, and his passing is poor.
Bit weird to be laying into the Spurs fan about the super league. As we know the managers, teams and fans had nothing to do with it and were almost unanimously as against it as the rest of us.
It doesn't really matter if it was a mad decision, it was the wrong one. Of course this is all with hindsight, but how else can you judge a manager?
I'm going to agree with you. As much as I think Ralph should go, who the **** was he supposed to bring on? The first X1 are ****e, the bench is much much worse
I would've knocked it on the head if the whole thing had gone through. Total abomination for the sport. The Champions League revamp should be ****ed off, too. Historical performances places? Get in the bin.
Because when you have a bench of fairly ordinary players it can go either way. That could/should have worked fine as a concept. If he'd brought on Jack Stephens to play up top in place of Ings, then fine, criticise away because it would have been weird. Bringing Diallo on at that stage and shifting it around a bit was perfectly comprehendible. It just didn't work out.
So we lost again, huh? I didn't watch so no comment, but I love Bale saying they had only had a few days with the new coach as if they had suddenly unlearned football.
The league is too **** for us to be relegated. We are trying as hard as we can but can't seem to sink any lower!
