I’m not going to mention that they have won their last three letting no goals in so take no notice of that if you have just read it, however even though we know it’s going to be a very difficult game, let’s go there and come home promoted.
A group of auditors who used to come to our office checking accounts had a Saturday ritual, they would go into Oberon at 11 am, drink till 3 pm, then get on the ferry, as they served alcohol, go to New Holland and back just in time for the Oberon to open again. One guy who will remain nameless consumed 18 pints apparently in the day, which was the record.
Loved the Lincoln beer run, last one In Minerva, then on the boat to New Holland, back for one in Minerva on the return trip and on to the rest of town. Those were the days !!!
Win tomorrow and I couldn't a flying if the lads dug out their flip flops and headed for the beach with two left to play
I listened today to Five live from yesterday evening today, Michael Appleton was one of the contributors, and I have to say he came across very well and spoke a lot of sense. All about this European super league, nothing about Lincoln or the game tomorrow.
Would be great too get the job done tomorrow and then let those who have been beyond patient play.... I was thinking driving home this aft'.. Josh E might be asking for a transfer...
This is a tough one to call. They've hit a nice patch of form lately and mathematically it's not impossible for them to grab an automatic. I was tempted to offer up a draw but **** it!!! Hard fought win for us 3-1.
Personally I think the lads will be well focused,I'm also going 3-1......klp,josh and wilks as he's due a goal!!!!c'mon lads do it for us tomorrow and ease the pain of last season....you KNOW you can do it
Would be good to see us crush these carrot crunchers convincingly and get promoted with a flourish rather than limp over the line.
