yet that same approach got us up into the playoffs from 11th or 13th or wherever the **** we were languishing. When did we last play Onien/Maguire on the right?

sorry Nordic but that only worked when we brought Mcgeady back, loads didn't want him back but Tees put an article up by him of what had happened , i for one believed his version, he was the one supplying accurate passes to Wykes head , without Geads we were ****, and now the teams have cottend on to that one, we are toothless again, he needs him on the wing coming in with accurate passes and Stuart there to keep the defence busy and pop up with the odd goal

i dont think it did in all honesty, there was little change week upon week which many had a whine about as LJ had said the squad was big enough for us to rotate regularly...recently he seems to change more personel and formation/tactics to apparently counter the opposition at the time, unfortunately we do not have the players that can adapt game to game imho.

been a while since those two even started a game together but they were passing the ball around between them without a problem, which was my point, the rare time we seem to get a partnership developing the manager seems to want to stop it...maybe it is another new way of thinking that if partnerships do not develop then if one is injured/suspended it wont harm anything to throw 'A. N. Other' in place.

What do you mean by 'that' Rog? Changing the team to deal with player availability vs the oppo.

Yes we are toothless as teams have figured us out, so you try summat different. We are creating chances, but relying on Wyke to bag them all is clearly not working.

The bloke ain't helping himself by any means but he's got a pretty hard task to try and get this squad promoted.

under Parky it was the same team with three crap forwards not firing, if my memory serves me right Wyke only had 5 goals to his name and a few of them were in the cup, he had the foresight to bring Geads back, but as the defence dropped like flies he failed to give our own a chance, so he has 2 games to save his season and to do that he needs to get 09 back in midfield and the under 23s a chance where the so called professionals don't come good.

He also picked some very mediocre players in his transfer window so we really need to take the scouting system to task only Sanderson shone when he finally gave him a chance.if i were KLD i would have him in the office telling him this is not what we are paying for and you need to buck up

I would agree that we don't have the players who can perform consistently well over a season, But modern football is such that players need to be adaptable to drop into different positions and play a system in a match.

Read the Blackpool fans pre-match notes on Roker Report. it's exactly how they operate, and they change their formation to suit each match. Their form is pretty good but they've had much longer to bed it in.

this is it, sure i said elsewhere that LJ has a good summer window coming up and with the new recruitment regime already looking for players to fit, next season should be better for his plan.

really have to sort out the squad for next season as early as possible, Speakman should have l1 and champ. options already in place. I expect news of next seasons squad within days of our season ending. No excuses this time. If that includes managerial change, so be it. No excuses.

I think you're setting him up to fail by saying the scouting/recruitment department need to do the job of building two teams and they need to start putting it into place days after the season ends.

Patience is necessary here. The transfer window is long.

maybe, but we've had years of pissing about all summer, only to end up with whats left on the shelf a few days before the new season starts. we need to get them in early, full pre-season together, and set our stall out. no more has-beens or journeymen ****e.

Not under our new regime we haven't. We need to drop the baggage that we've been dragging around with us and give the new guys a chance before we get on their backs.

Not expecting much activity in the first few weeks, particularly if we're promoted, but I do think Speakman/ Johnson will have their retained lists drafted already for L1 or Championship.

there won't be many to retain hopefully, maybe a couple if we stay in L1, but I wouldn't trust any of the ****ers in the Championship.
