The mind boggles! Have you forecast a Hull City win this season? Do you put us down to lose a touch of reverse psychology Billy B
No injuries apparently, same team as last week for me although I wouldn't be too alarmed if Burke came back in and Jones took Slater's spot. Rain forecast for tomorrow though, might spoil things a bit. I'm going 3-1 Tigers.
I see nothing but a sensational performance and victory for the Champions of 2021...3-0,tantalising performance and UTT(we already are)!!!
Antidepressant treatment tachyphylaxis (ADT tachyphylaxis), also known as Prozac poop-out, is a medical condition in which progressive or acute tolerance effects are seen following chronic administration of a drug.
Still haven't fully digested the 0-5 in 2008/9 aka 'Wayne's Farewell'. We need to crush these ecky thumpers ruthlessly.
thought you might have mentioned the previous wigan league team. wigan borough joined the league for the first season of the new division 3 north in 1921-1922. in ten seasons, they managed to finish 4th and 5th, but otherwise 10th or worse was their fate, and they were 17th or 18th (out of 22) half the ten seasons. in what would have been their 11th season, money difficulties led them to resign from the league at the end of october 1931. wigan athletic was founded in 1932, likely as a response to the demise of wigan borough. they were elected to the football league in 1978. the seventies saw unusual amounts of interest in the fa cup exploits of various non-league teams, especially those with a character or two in their ranks. after hereford had administered a useful boot and boost up the derriere to john motson's fledgling career and been added to their league, such names as wimbledon's keeper dickie guy and chris kelly, "the leatherhead lip" pulled off cup heroics that, in wimbledon's case, led to their club's election to the league, though sometimes at the heroic player's expense. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wigan_Athletic_F.C.#Non_league_football_(1932–1978) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wigan_Borough_F.C. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dickie_Guy
I really hope we play with determination and swagger and beat them handsomely, though, would take any sort of win to be fair. I just hope Will Keane doesn't do the usual thing and score like a few ex-City players have in the past. However, I am pleased he seems to have found a club and a good run of games without injury, he really did have an awful time with us health wise! Apart from today, I wish him the best of luck in the future. On a spiteful note, I hope we beat them to enhance their chances of relegation, as their 8-0 drubbing did in part contribute to our relegation last season.
