Is the cost of the playoff included in a SAFSEE season ticket? Or will all the matches be on sky so not on SAFSEE. Thats assuming we get to the final this time around.

If your in UK it'll be on sky and should be able to watch in pub by then so will get some sort of atmosphere on a bank holiday weekend if we get there. Could be a cracking weekend

Don't think it will be on in pubs as we aren't allowed inside a pub till June 21st unless I've got it wrong?...

Thought it was 17th May pubs were allowed to open inside again. There'll still be restrictions until June. Hoping all goes to plan as entered Sunderland half on 20th June.

Pubs open inside 17th May, 21st June every restriction gone - no one way system, no masks going to the bog, no staff wearing visors, and people can go to bar as they did before.

I reckon there will still be an element of social distancing for the remainder of the year

How not. Life won’t be worth living if there is. He said ‘all limits on social contact’ should be lifted June 21st, I think people will be furious if he goes back on that.

Not suggesting the Govt will change anything, just gut feel that a lot of places - pubs, restaurants - will still have an element of social distancing. We still have some way to go to get everyone fully vaccinated. 21st June isn't some golden date that means c-19 has gone away

Indeed on the latter point, for me all restrictions should be gone right now, it was all about stopping the hospitals getting overwhelmed, task accomplished now thanks to vaccinations. It was never about vaccinating everyone, and that will be achieved by mid July I would think.

I don't think removing restrictions just because the NHS hasn't been overwhelmed is a good idea. It's also about minimising deaths and illness.

Deaths are on average below 20 now though, we’ve never had restrictions for flu and around 25,000 a year due of it, Covid will be a similar number thanks to vaccines. This way of life is no life, existing isn’t living.

2 weeks on monday we can have people indoors and the pubs are open. It's a million miles away from "existing" it's far closer to normal than it was 4 months ago
Personally a bit of social distancing, masks etc just to be on the safe side for a few more months isn't harming anyone

Means no full SOL though and if restrictions are still in place autumn the scientists will ensure we are back in a lockdown thanks to the flu. Need to lift the whole lot otherwise we will be stuck in perpetual cycles of restrictions and no one will ever be able to plan anything again and the days of gatherings over Christmas etc. Will be over.

Not necessarily. There is a distance between lockdown and wearing masks/keeping a bit of distance.
Football matches are effectively outdoors so restrictions need not apply

Like I say. Just a gut feel, This 21st June date isn't the end of it all.

Well the indoor/outdoor thing goes out the window when you consider the crucible will be full in a few days time. If people are asked to wear masks at the stadium then fine, though I won’t be keeping that on for 90 minutes, but any caps on crowd etc. And we can kiss goodbye to a lot of clubs, many will ‘do a Dover’.

Your clearly not that desperate to get out of it.

The only points you’ve made is to keep us in it.

If we get promoted remember we cannot mass outside of wembley/SOL etc we must obey the rules like those holiday makers i have had the jab but still wear the mask and will continue to protect others even though i talk ****e sometimes. And remember this it was worse back in 1985-86 than this i tell you.
