I'll try one of those next time, but to be fair there was little that could be improved on. The haddock was a decent size, perfectly cooked, falling apart, with a really nice light crispy batter and the chips were just how I like them, well cooked and crispy. Nothing worse than anaemic soggy chips. They must have had a good day, if thry are normally average. I just need to remember to ask them to skin the fish next time. Wish I'd seen the home-made tartare though.
It has to be the right thing to do under the circumstances with George, I guess he will be disappointed not to feature but it has to be the right call. Crowley, I guess looks to be the player that will come in, he is a very different type of player, and he does slow the game down which goes against the way we play at times, but he does retain the ball well and maybe allows Docherty to get forward more.
In a game where we might be looking to score on the break you might not pick Crowley, but if GH isn't fit we'll have to go with what we've got. I hope he doesn't start Smallwood, him and Crowley together doesn't feel like a very mobile partnership.
Like us to win if possible obviously, however what ever happens it's worth getting i follow just to see us pick up the champions trophy with them back and Amber Ribbons tied round it. Great season and championship football to look forward too. Let's have one more win to finish the season off.
Josh emannuel deserves a start for me, possibly our best player first half of the season, didn't do anything wrong just lost his place due to coyles form after he got given a go. Be good to see Burke get a start too, another who's been great this year lost his place after injury due to jones' form at cb.
I wouldn’t change much of the line-up other than maybe Reece Burke in the back four, pushing Jones into DM and I’d like to see Slater in the Honeyman role.
