I agree, his punch variation and selection/timing was up there with his best performance, he looked hungry and like he had his fire back. The AJ Vs Fury fight has all the potential to be one of the best ever fights and is almost impossible to call one way or the other with any confidence.

I think the first fight if it happens, will be in Saudi unfortunately! I just hope at least one of them is in the UK

Agree Joshua was very good last night
I just think Pulev wasn’t...at all, and Fury is a very different fight.
    Of course there’s all the “one punch can change it in heavyweight boxing blah blah“, and that’s right of course, but I just think that Fury will shade it with better movement and he is bloody awkward for someone who can punch too. Can’t see Joshua landing too many upper cuts on him {...realises that this post will resurface when Joshua knocks Fury out with an upper cut! <laugh>}
Close though I’d think, and could go either way.

Bloody hope it happens that all.

I think they will both be each other toughest fight and it really will just boil down to the night and who deals with the occasion best. AJ tasting defeat previously may just be enough to swing it his way

I thought Joshua was fantastic last night. He had the right blend of power and patience. The old Joshua would of gone for kill in the 4th or 5th round.

As for Fury fight. I fancy AJ. The two things AJ has to watch is not letting Fury box at the end of his jab and Fury clenching and wrestle Joshua because it'll just sap his strength.

If AJ can box on the inside and hit plenty of body shots and chest shots and use that to set the upcut then I think AJ will finish it in the late rounds. But if he lets Fury box at a distance then it'll be Fury on points.

Talks to agree a bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury for 2021 could take just "a couple of days" to be completed, promoter Eddie Hearn says.

Joshua's knockout of Kubrat Pulev on Saturday has set up the prospect of a clash between the British rivals.

Negotiations start on Monday and it could be the first fight in history for all four heavyweight titles.

"There is no reason we cannot complete the deal and then move on and solve the other problems," Hearn said.

It should be simple if both fighters want it, just split everything down the middle and 50% to each camp. Of course it will never happen as Eddie and Bob will both want their fighter to have the bigger share and be the lead name on the bill.

Imo it should be AJ Vs Tyson has AJ has the bigger share of the belts, but It won't ever be as simple as that unfortunately.

Apparently, it would be a two fight deal, one 50-50, the other 60-40 to the winner.

Fingers crossed thats the case as that's a really fair deal and should be straight forward to do. Just keep Frank Warren out of it all as much as possible and it should be simple

I know he's selling himself, but am I the only one who finds Fury's act tiresome as hell?

Tyson Fury will decide the result he will either dominate and play with Joshua for 12 Rounds or knock him out in Round 8, 9 or 10.
Good to see the fights taking place at Wembley. Oh wait.
