They wanted 2 seats on the lfc board. They have a supporters board who's chairman might get to attend the real board when fan issues come up. Formal agreement in articles of association yes. Sos are not being collaborated with the official supporters trust is. Finally fsg had already committed to pay the costs they created.
You know that SoS is the recognised Supporters Trust. The club have also come out and said that the Supporters Board will "deliver meaningful fan representation at main board and executive levels. " It's on SoS website, I can't link.
All we need do is cut the domestic calendars by reducing leagues to 16 to.make room for a month of international football every single summer. How could any fan object.
As long as fifa (and uefa etc) get their money, **** everyone else. Only reason they hated the ESL was because they weren't in charge.
Notice who proposed it "The proposal, by Saudi Arabia's football federation (SAFF)" Yeah nothing to do with greed or money agreeing to a proposal by the oil rich serial human rights violator. Those football clubs involved with the ESL were just greedy for wanting a break-away, but Fifa just want to expand the game of course Wonder if the 'fans' will get het up over this.
I'm not all that interested in the national games. I want to watch the team I support far more than I want to watch England. Having the WC every four years is as often as I want to see international football.
Too much as far as I'm concerned, them and the Euros. It's not so much the tournaments but the number of qualifying games (many of them meaningless) and the friendlies (all of them meaningless) during the season that disrupt the domestic programme. Like you, I only really care about the club competitions.
In the end I would rather see a world cup than a nations league as its complete bull ****. Same for Olympics. U23s??? Either go the whole way or forget it.
Good job we pulled out, Uefa starting legal action for the '3' left in https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57249562
Well they've been warned 3 times. At this point they have tried to make out it would only go ahead as uefa sanctioned comp but really they are clinging for some reason
The PL fine the six rebels a combined total of £22m. Should they try it again it will be £25m each and 30 points deduction. Like we predicted - a slap on the hand. Gary Neville isn't happy.
