ManU lose on penalties, 11-10! De Gea missed his.

De Gea knows he's on his way out of United for being a generally calamitous, occasional
shot stopper. Tells his mate which way to dive. Happens all the time.

De Gea's contribution - let in 1 goal, let in 11 penalties, saved 0 and then missed a penalty - time to go

On the other hand. Man Utd looked ****ed. Their 'world class' players aren't, and Scott McTominay, as good as he is, shouldn't be your MOM in a European Final. Pogba contributed nothing, Fernandez contributed nothing, Cavani huffed, Rashford was no better than Sunday League, Greenwood contributed nothing. If you play a Euro Final and your most effective threat is Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka (sp) , you're ****ed.

Pogba is Junior Lewis & Frank Lampard in disguise.
Go missing in the trenches and miraculously look like Gods when things look rosy.

Rashford IMO is not playing well enough to get an England start. Whether all this media attention and the good he is doing with kid's meals etc is affecting his game, I am not sure, but his play for Manure in the league just doesn't seem to have been at the level you would expect.

P.S. Sorry to see Manure miss out, I'm no fan of theirs, but I always like English sides to do well in Europe.

Didn't watch the game but some seemed to be saying Solskjaer had no plan B, or that his plan B was to play for penalties from the start of extra time.

But surely he can't racially abuse without consequence?

Rashford deserves flak for his performance but some of the other stuff with racist overtones is pathetic!!

Disgraceful the amount of abuse Rashford's getting. What are the odds the abusive tweets in that screenshot are from people who have never set foot in Old Trafford and watch Utd games on beIN SPORTS?

Regarding the football itself, Utd are just ****e and won't win anything for a while. Fred has to be one of the worst players Utd have had in recent years. Pogba's a luxury player. Utd could do with clearing out the driftwood (including Pogba) and getting someone like Ndidi from Leicester to sort their midfield out.

Was going for a pint but decided not to as the pub would have been full of plastics talking about"us" or "we". Wish I had now so I could have pointed out up the road was Scarborough a town with 10,000 more inhabitants than Villareal. It will be mentioned though accompanied by Yellow Subjarine on the jukebox.<laugh>

Don't go onto a thread about Man Utd's Europa League Final if you don't care then.

I came on about Villareal's Europa League Final. I don'tvsupport Man Utd so why should I care about who they should sign? Same goes for Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea etc, etc...In fact everyone except Hull City. And to a lesser interest teams in thecsame league as us as that could affect City when we play them?

Is Man Utd your first or second team? Do you spend time thinking about who Rochdale should sign to improve their team?

Neither. I support Hull City and that's it. I occasionally watch other football games that City aren't involved in like last night's and made a simple observation that Utd's midfield is lacking and could do with a better defensive midfielder.

Why does that bother you? If you don't care, why did you take the time to reply and express how much you don't care? Why not ignore it? Just typical narcissistic boomer behaviour of letting everybody know just how much you don't care when nobody asked your opinion anyway?

Typical younger person who thinks we should post in an echo chamber, they think they should post and everyone agree. No doubt you will be in favour of safe spaces and the cancel culture. Why not go on Man Utd's board to discuss who Hull City should buy?
