It was in very poor taste and entirely UEFA’s fault. UEFA are responsible for recording the games and then national TV broadcast it. From what I understand, Danish TV cut away from the pitch immediately after it became apparent it was serious. Others decided to broadcast the trauma porn of his grief-stricken teammates, coaches, fans and partner. Shameful really.
Every form of media imho are nothing short of the devil, they will stoop at anything to get a story, hiding behind that ridicules line of “ in the public interest “ non of the bastards ever asked me if I was interested.. ****ing lowlifes the lot of them..
UEFAs fault? How do you work that out? You even said Danish tv cut it off right away; why didn't BBC?
It was entirely UEFA's fault it was shown in the first place because they were the ones in charge of recording the games.
Uefa didn't force the BBC to continue showing it, the BBC could have chosen to go back to the studio at ANY point. The chose to continue to show it
I listened on the radio yesterday when Eriksen collapsed, Pat Nevin was the pundit and he instantly realised that the player had collapsed and was seriously in trouble, even before Kjaer did his amazing thing. If Nevin knew, there’s no reason why TV producers shouldn’t also know what was happening.
Come on @Chazz Rheinhold Where’s the MDT for Holland v Ukraine etc I need somewhere to ask why Weghorst dropped to his knees and clearly did his ‘mauled by the Tigers’ hand actions after he scored Have we signed him without me noticing?
Turns out the above wasn't true, UEFA told Denmark they either resumed the game game on Saturday night, restarted it at Noon on Sunday, or conceded the game 3-0. Piss poor, under the circumstances, nobody would have objected to it being recorded as a draw.
Such jokes are inevitable. Maybe just me, but I find it incredibly inappropriate, bad taste and disrespectful. I'd even suggest mods remove them please.
