I have always liked the French wines but I know the Aussie ones have become popular. I saw a program on the Wine Channel (when it was on) where a vineyard in Eastern Australia won some award with the experts saying it was better than the French equivalent. At the end of the day if it tastes okay and it’s cheaper then people will buy it. Macron has made a fool of himself with all his games. He needs to remember that we are the ones who buy and spend the money. It will come back to haunt him and the stupid EU.
Top end French wines are hard to beat, but there's a lot of average stuff below. Macron is under huge pressure domestically. He's trying to make Brits after Brexit the common enemy, but his voters aren't buying it.
I read a fab story discussing the internal fighting going on in the EU. It said Macron and VDL wanted to try and punish the U.K. for power reasons and to stop others leaving the block while others voices think it should be resolved amicably. Apparently there are some who think VDL is a disaster and they blame the Swiss leaving on their (EU) stupid no negotiable stance. It will all end in tears for that project.

I read this too. Bullying never goes down well. If the UK make a success of Brexit, particularly in the profitable Pacific area, I'm betting some of the Northern EU states become unsettled.
This morning: Ikea fined €1m for hiring private detectives to spy on staff and using fake employees to report on colleagues. This evening: Ikea suspend advertising on GB News because they don't like its values. This posturing is all so vacuous.

British Ciders to Enjoy Whilst Boycotting Kopparberg In a bizarre business move, Swedish cider company Kopparberg has suspended all their GB News advertising after a left-wing Twitter user complained they’d hosted Nigel Farage as a guest. Guido has no doubt Kopparberg will also be suspending ads for BBC, ITV and Sky, who have all interviewed Nige’ on numerous occasions… If boycotts are Kopparberg’s thing, Guido can only oblige and encourage its readers to abandon the Swedish brand. Guido will instead happily recommend several British cider companies that won’t leave customers with such a bad taste in their mouth… Thirsty Farmer cider, based in Nottinghamshire and made by the same family since 1880. It’s a small British company, though still stocking Morrisons and the Co-op… Dunkertons black fox organic cider, is a delicious cider from the Cotswolds. The perfect drink to enjoy throughout this glorious British summer Jack Ritesparkling cider will go down a treat with friends on the July 19th Henderson’s Toffee Applecider is the brew for readers with a sweet tooth Brexit Bellevie is a beautiful, refreshing drink that champions the cause close to co-conspirators’ hearts. Readers could crack open a bottle in celebration of today’s trade deal with Australia… Nivea has also apparently announced a boycott, though Guido’s altogether less familiar with brands of moisturiser. Imperial Leather moisturiser seems an appropriate alternative brand… Guido has contacted Kopparberg for comment.
I notice the Wokes are starting to call GBnews far-right. What a bunch of work dodgers. It's been the complete opposite today.
Ikea, Grolsch Kopparberg have pulled adverts from GB News over concerns that the channel is breaching their policy of only being inclusive to people who read the Guardian
To be fair I think even the most loyal Tories supporters thought he was a weak. Those fake tears of joy was particularly cringeworthy.
Come on @GBNEWS surely these images should not be shown before the watershed? News Channel, not Horror Channel.#PlasticPlumber please log in to view this image 9
