    1. Love to see Forshaw back. I think we will have a good look at him in pre season and see where he's at. But I have doubts now of his future here.
    2. Costa is a hard one he's a squad player at best. but, he's a happy bench sitter. I think we will keep him unless someone comes in for him with a decent offer I can't see us forcing him out.
    3. Gunn I'm not to bothered about I'm also happy to let Kiko sit on the bench next season. touch wood Meslier plays nearly everything so whoever sits there is just a body.
    4. Bogutsz I don't think he will get back in a Leeds shirt came with big hopes even Klich said he will be better than him. Keep him out on loan to see if a player evolves. looks like he needs someone to put a arm around him and believe in him.
    5. Totally get where you are going on Phillips. Bielsa loves a player who can play 3 positions coming from Orta and of course if asked Phillips can slot in anywhere through the middle but I think Bielsa has him as at 4 as his main position and I don't see him changing it. he even told him it.
    6. I'm no lawyer but this Augustin battle is going to get ugly it could run for a long time. something we really don't want. I thought we were away from all these court legal battles but looks like another is upon us and will linger around for a while.

I think Costa gets a rough deal.

He finished the last Championship season very well. He started this season well. Raphinha took his place in the team (no shame in that). He then ran in to personal problems before bouncing back towards the end with a couple of decent performances from the bench.

I'd like us to recoup some cash for him as I think Summerville may be overtaking him in the pecking order.

He gets the Roberts treatment. No matter what he does, it's never good enough.

Didnt know he had some personal stuff to sort out Emu, fair play. The guy has played for 2 attacking managers and been promoted from the Championship with both. He is someone Bielsa wanted so suppose we have to trust Bielsa knows how to flick his switch.

We now have CBs and wingers coming out of our asses yet the CB situation is great as it gives us plenty of cover and also cover elsewhere, so sorted. However on the flanks we have Harrison who can be erratic and we have Raphinha. Costs has stuttered and Poveda has fired blanks but we also have Summerville champing at the bit. If we bring in a winger like Lang I think we will move on Costa or Poveda BUT Noa Lang can play anywhere like Rodrigo 7,8,9,10 or 11 so that could be the plan and Bielsa did say he was teaching Raphinha how to play at 10.

Sid I think the JKA thing comes down to the rule of law. One side argues that a deal was entered into and even though a pandemic happened, morally Leeds should stump up. So one side using morals whilst the other side using law and the meaning of a contract wording. Also the basic fact that nobody could be expected to pay £10,000 for a faulty car or a faulty roof, so why should anyone be expected to pay £18,000,000 for a faulty player. So not good that we have a court case but nobody can write off so much cash

Shackleton should be loaned out next season to a lower-end PL club like Brighton or Norwich or Everton <whistle>

It'll do him the world of good and hopefully come back the season after ready to challenge for a first team place.

Seems to have lost his way a bit but always rated him and is a Bielsa type of player who can cover a few different positions.

Could be a future Leeds United star and save us a few quid in the transfer market but needs regular football at a decent level.

No argument from me on anything there at all. We do however have a problem because we have Gotts, McCalmont, Stevens, Hosannah, Shackelton, Bogutsz to sort out one way or the other, plus existing 23s that are at the end if their tenure and old enough to either go out on loan or be sold. Casey is being sold to Blackpool, but Huggins is also 20 now and we also have Leif Davies so I fear some players are going to move on or we will end up with a set up like Chelsea with loads of players out on loan? Think next month we will see a lot of action in terms of players being released or sold and some loaned out. Some new faces coming in for the 18s and 23s. Already talk of the young flyer from Birmingham coming for the 23s and hes already played first team in the Championship. A young kid from Celtic as a replacement for Casey in the 23s at CB. Then we also have the issue of what happens with the 4 kids we bought last Summer, are they going to do another season for the 23s or will one or 2 prefer to play first team football even out on loan. Gelhardt and Greenwood seem to be ambitious and I hope they have been spoken to and bought into whatever plan Bielsa has for them?

I like Shackleton. He is no right back though. I'd like to see him go to the Championship and get a solid 50 games under his belt. He would do well in a possession team like Huddersfield.

We need to find out if he can step up. If not he will gain transfer value just from gaining that experience in the Championship. Just sitting on our bench for another season is unacceptable for him. He needs to play.

It's got nothing to do with morals, it's to do with whether within football a specific date means exactly that, or whether it can mean something different as per the legal term of "implied intent".

Lees did their inspection. He had a medical, which he passed! Leeds should not have panicked and only agreed to an option to buy!

Aski you and I will never agree on this so pointless debating. We will just have to wait for the real end of this drama, but lots will happen yet both good and bad but if no settlement reached it will end up in the High Court. Politics may also come into it if FIFA make threats behind the scenes. Bollox like bringing football into disrepute etc or some such made up bollox like disrespecting a fellow member of the organisation. I think ultimatley we have big pockets now and plenty of legal backing and may refuse to back down. Law usually means right and wrong

This is why i do not buy into the Orta is wonderful fan club. Far too many crocks like kev and forshaw (was he an orta signing?) Plus all the millions he wasted in the u23s. I believe orta got lucky and leeds have made him look successful.

I'm more than happy to wait and see Doc, I've said that all along. The only thing I disagree on is that you are reliant upon certain points as being fact, when all I am saying is that those points are not always considered to be legally correct. If you raise an issue on this subject that I agree with, then I will also be more than happy to acknowledge that.

I have no problem with you disagreeing with my reasoning, on this matter I accept that you think you are right ( and you may well be) and are happy to disregard the issues I raise, but rather than have one position which ( as we are all Leeds fans and thus biased towards a positive outcome for ourselves) reinforces that belief, I don't see any harm in any user questioning the position outlined, so that everyone who reads it can consider the points raised both for and against.

Anyways I'm happy to not comment any further on this, until a post on the same subject is raised again :)

Anyone fancy signing Sergio Ramos as hes now walked out on Real Madrid. What you bet is great skipper and a great defender and leader. What it costs for this 35yo is a £12m signing on fee and a £16m er year salary. Guessing he wont be at Milwall next season.
