    :emoticon-0119-puke:

A Conservative MP is to stand trial charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy in 2008.

Imran Ahmad Khan, MP for Wakefield in West Yorkshire, denies sexually touching the teenager in Staffordshire.

The 47-year-old appeared before Westminster magistrates via video-link on Thursday. Reporting restrictions on the case were lifted on Friday.

His solicitor said the allegation against the MP, who was elected in 2019, would be "vigorously defended".

During Thursday's hearing Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring said the case was not suitable for trial in the magistrates' court and sent the case to the Old Bailey.

The British Buggering Corporation reporting on child sex abuse, how ironic <ok>

If true, the **** should be put to death, just like the BBC.

Clearly nothing because I have no idea what a deranged brain dead idiot like you is complaining about from that incoherent question.

The previous MP Cheryl Gillan held the seat for nearly 30 years with a huge majority, so the Tories perhaps more than a little bit complacent. Reading an article in the Telegraph where they actually asked Tory voters why they switched to the Lib Dems the two biggest reasons were two lies that the Lib Dems had told them on the doorstep: opposition to HS2 (the Lib Dems supported HS2 in Parliament) and new, as yet unannounced, planning laws allowing building on the local Green Belt (the psychic Lib Dems know the law that is not even a white paper yet).

I never even mentioned that Garuniad writer Polly Toynbee told Labour voters to switch to the Lib Dems to defeat the Tories, which they obviously did along with Remain Tories.

Unless thousands of Lib Dem supporters have moved to Chesham or Amersham and registered to vote, this is a simple matter of arithmetic. I will see if I can find you the Guide to Arithmetic for Dummies.

When the European Commission brought this case, AstraZeneca stated that they were confident they would win because it was a matter of contract law.

Unsurprisingly, the court in Brussels agreed and ruled for the pharmaceutical company and stated that they were obliged to deliver 80 million doses by the end of September. AstraZeneca claim that they will exceed that delivery having already delivered 70 million doses; however, this is the vaccine that EU leaders, Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron all rubbished so they have vast stockpiles going unused.

Equally unsurprising that Ursula von der Leyen claimed that this was a “good result” for the EU. That seems like a pathetic attempt at trying to spin the fact that the court agreed that AstraZeneca were fulfilling the original contract.

    QuarterMoonII at the cake shop

    Mr Baker

"Good morning Sir what can I get you ?"

    QuarterMoonII

"You are half right in the context of night and day and as the cock crows it's before 12pm GMT , which you probably don't know means Greenwich mean time .
Greenwich being part of London which is in England, however there's a caveat with your assertion that you can get me something.
Quite the assumption don't you think? "

    Mr Baker

" Yes sir , as you can see there's a long line forming and we are very busy so if you wouldn't mind ordering. "

    QuarterMoonII

" I would like an steak bake a primitive yet delicious fusion of pastry and meat and in this instance surrounded by puff pastry , as a traditionalist I favour a non butter based pastry the French or puff pastry is more likely to flake , some even refer to it as flaky pastry but you wouldn't know that would you , you probably entered your vocation through a YTS or youth training scheme and the produce you bake is most likely just taken from a freezer and warmed up and "

    Mr Baker

" Well no sir , this is a family owned bakery and we have been making our own pies since 1937 anyway , so just the steak bake then? That's £1.75 please "

    QuarterMoonII

"One pound and seventy five new pence you say , which is 5 shillings a hapeny and sixpence we only use the decimal system because of the French you know pounds and ounces man , this is England we didn't fight two World wars to be surrounded by sambos and your dregs of human civilisation "

    Mr Baker

" That's £1.75 sir , we are extremely busy so can you move along please cash or card ?"

"You must think I was born yesterday if you think I'll be trusting you with my bank account details I'll be paying by cheque, hand me a pen and make sure it doesn't have any grease on it that's if you can even use a pen , incidentally the pen or what we refer to as your modern pen was invented by a man named Lazlo Biro in the 1930s , when I was at school we had inkwells on our desks ,wooden desks not like these cheap plastic things we import from Bongo bongo land or the Orient "

    Mr Baker

"Just **** off and get out of my shop "

Achewally...Croatian Slavoljub Penkala invented a mechanical pencil, called the Penkala in 1906. Today we call it “pen.” I think what you're referring to is a 'ball point' pen, which is a pen that dispenses ink (usually in paste form) over a metal ball at its point, i.e. over a "ball point". The metal commonly used is steel, brass, or tungsten carbide. :emoticon-0147-emo:

I believe you have nailed it.

Of course, when I say I, as in me, myself and I , I refer to the free standing sentient entity hereto and thereafter referred to in the third person as the RL.
