    Me Dad hated Fathers Day. “Waste of money, thought up by those card people and yanks to con you into sending a card!”
    So, I never got him one. It wasn’t very often that I would be home for Fathers Day, but on the one time I was, took him for a pint. It had been about 18 months since the last time I had gone to Greenwood with him. I bought a couple of Stones and took them over saying “Happy Fathers Day!” He looked up from his hand of dominoes and just said “It was your round anyway, I got the last one.”

    I was due to be treat to lunch, but oldest has had to self isolate. She's had Covid, has had two vaccines but still picked up by T and T. She's apparently got me an England shirt, but we'll probably be out by the time I get it.
    Youngest brought round a Coupland's sandwich and a couple of books. We abandoned lunch out as I'm still feeling groggy from Friday's penis reduction op.
