Its done on GD. If 3 teams it’s done on GD only on the games between each other so ignoring the results against team finished top

So, England team for tonight? I would probably go for something like:
    Pickford

    James Stones Mings Shaw

    Rice Grealish Hendo

    Sancho Kane Foden
Could also swap Philips in for Hendo and tell him to get forward more, or get him to play the Rice position.

We haven't seen three at the back yet; will Southgate use this as an opportunity to try it out? Maybe with White as one of the CBs, and get him to push up into midfield when we've got the ball?

don't forget than maguire is also pretending to be fit.

    it could be anything.

Last time out the full backs were changed but without any improvement. if anything he could return to walker and trippier.

southgate imo is paralysed with catution and won't change much. chilwell doesn't matter to him but without mount he is as likely got 532 as anything.

    Pickshite
    Walkshite Stoneshite Minger
    Trippedup riceless Phillipshite shawless
    fodenboring 100mil sterling (devalued)

I cannot see much change his himt wanting 6 or 6 blocking goals and 2 or three aimlessing wandering about up front.

I'm thinking of watching the Scotland game. When the England game is over and I look at the score, I can imagine what happened. That wouldn't be the case with any other team. I may change my mind if Henderson plays <whistle>

Croatia v Scotland is the one to watch. It's the game which is far more likely to have a bit of bite and spirit about it.

    That's what I'm watching anyway :1980_boogie_down:

You'd know the England score anyway, they give updates throughout

If it was me I'd be playing this...

    Walker...Stones....Mings...Saka
    ......Bellingham....Rice
    ..............Grealish
    Sancho....Kane.....Foden

Attacking but solid. I wouldn't start any player who's been out injured so Henderson off the bench to come on for some game time at the end. And I'd really like to see Saka, I think he's class tbh, plays with no fear and has a great delivery on him.

All academic anyway as there's no chance Southgate will pick that side.

Need to freshen things up. Henderson needs game time so seems perfect time to start him. Grealish and Sancho would make sense.

If he’s going by the fact we’ll have more of the ball then full backs should be James and shaw again.

Yeah I forgot Bellingham before; he would be a good shout. Saka potentially as well. From what I saw I thought that James was better going forward than Walker against Croatia, hence why I gave him the nod.

    TEAM NEWS IS OUT!

ENGLAND XI: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Rice, Phillips, Grealish, Sterling, Saka, Kane.

Harsh on Foden, Maguire and Walker starting is a joke. I've given up on Sterling.

    I'd say it's...

    Pickford
    Walker - Stones - Maguire - Shaw
    Rice - Phillips
    Saka - Grealish - Sterling
    Kane
Don't see a 433 with who is in that three above

I am wondering on the 3 at the back.myself.

Saka has played wing back but left wing back so its possible its 4231 or its 343.

It's certainly not 433 really is it?

Overall it feels a totally mish mash team now based on predetermined choices and scratching round looking for something.

    Maguire must play
    Sterling must play
    Kane must play
Shoehorn in grealish as the public demand it.

Randomly throw in shaw, get nothing and stick with it.
Stick in saka not sancho cos one is inexperienced or something.

I think it could be any formation tonight and any sort of performance.

WTF is Kane doing going to get the ball from the CB's.

No wonder he aint scoring, too busy trying to be Roy of the Rovers and do everything.

Play hockey with a guy like that, never sticks to a position, has to take all the freehits. Its really irritating.

Thank god for Saka. Only player who looks like he wants to add some pace to the England team.
