I thought Williams was disappointing. Early days though.

Not sure where you got your info. Josh Hinds didn’t come on, Ollie Green came on in midfield and looked very promising. Expected a lot more from Williams

Yes sorry typo. I wasn't really listening to the tannoy, my wife had called and we're expecting her to go into labour. Turns out she couldn't find the TV remote <laugh>.
I didn't expect anything from Williams, it's pre season. He looked ok to me.

I have higher expectations for Moncur because he’s played at Championship level before and I’d expect him to be challenging for a starting position. Williams has to make the jump from League 2 to Championship so I always expected him to be a squad player anyway. Still think we need another centre-forward and a holding midfielder.

Decent friendly game against Mansfield, who I think should do well in league 2 this season. Greaves looks very, very good and he must have caught the eye of a couple of scouts who where sitting in the west stand taking notes. I am sure a few Premier league teams will be looking at him, if he starts off well in the Championship, we will struggle to hang on to him.
KLP looked lively and I thought Ollie Green who came on at half time in a central - holding midfield looked a very decent prospect, likes a tackle and can pick a pass. I hope he could step up into the 1st team squad as could young Matty Jacobs at left back. It looks as if we have some good home-grown players coming through into the 1st team ranks.

Low key return to the Home of Football.

No programme, no teams on the electronic scoreboard, new announcer who can only get better, pitch looked great with no rugby oafs trampling on it,

The Mansfield 200 turned up for what appeared to their Cup Final.

Why else would they slow the game down 10 mins before time and bring 4 subs on in the last 5 or 6 mins?

Kin barmy, it's all about game time not running down the clock.

Very muted welcome back for Stephen Quinn, one our Cup Final team. He's no badge kisser and appears to be a bit more arsey than he used to be.

Think we missed big Tom up front

Sorry. no idea what formation we played first half or second.

No sign of Wilks at the MKM. Elder and Honeyman were sat in the stands. Unless he’s travelled with the squad to Scunny I reckon he’ll be off.

Even more arsey than the day at Oakwell in 2013 when he had to be dragged back by his team mates from flying into the ''barracker'' lightweights who thought we'd lost any chance of promotion?

He called injury time 'extra time''!! Is that a rugby thing?

Flemming just does not look like he enjoys his football but the one who came on for him (Jacobs?) Did look good. Who was the CB who came on at HT?

Put a bit of timber on too, still got clever feet though.

Poor afternoon topped by some deafening **** version of "WMS" by Andy Williams on the tannoy after the final whistle.

Get to **** whoever put that one on, it's utter ****.
