He wasn’t up to the challenge and what is the bollox of a statement claiming that he’s disappointed and it was other circumstances that prevented him taking the job. More like the wife said I’m not moving from London.
Nearly August and we're going through this clown show yet again leaving little time to sort any players the new guy might want or bring with ?
Usually someone in the know, spills the beans and we all know well before it is announced, where is this f....er this time?
Keep refreshing twatter & sky bet but not a fukin dickie bird (see what I did there) > usually the fat bloke down the pub knows something but fuk all this time round. Seems to be Morris vs the qpr chap now JT has moved out to 3rd on 4/1. Tw@.
I feel Winter should be sacked over this. We have looked an utter shambles and the football world are laughing. (And I doubt any players want to join) Weeks ago (probably more) Cooper wanted out, and nothing was lined up it seems. This is Winter’s main job in the club and the first time he’s been called upon, he’s failed.
I’m not sure what Winter can do if nobody wants to join though. He may have been contacting people during those two weeks, but nobody is interested......
In fairness, Cooper’s departure was widely expected especially after the Play-Off Final defeat. Why wasn’t there a contingency plan in place? Why hadn’t people been sounded out? If no one was interested, why pay-off Cooper?
Maybe they thought there would be more interest in the job ? Look at the trouble Spurs had - even with their status. In terms of getting shot of Cooper - I see it as the same as when a player wants to leave - nobody wants anyone at the club who doesn't want to be there. I'm sure there are plenty who would take the job - but they will probably be coming from lower leagues and see it as a step up (until they speak to the club and realise the job could damage their career).
Don't forget Jinx is still in the boardroom, and he will still have a huge influence over this situation, matter of fact the current situation, is so familiar of years gone by under Jenkins as Chairman, I see no difference, well other than another idiot in the boardroom.............
